[CP] Presidential Update

Good afternoon eIreland,
Lately you could have witnessed a lot of events we had. Each one of them is of course well planned. I'm writing today regular update, more detailed and serious then my last article. I'm also summing up what's have been done in this term.

Firstly, I'd like to thank to all Ministers, this Cabinet has proved once again as a great team, ready to lead this country. Everyone in cabinet had their own role, each one of them was important one.



Let's sum up what has been done in this term, then we'll move to present and the future. We had a lot of important tasks before our term and I'm happy to say I believe we solved them all and successfully reached all our goals.

-We had referendum to determine which way our country will go
-Ireland joined CUA Brotherhood
-We made sure that's what most people want with the ratification vote
-We had training war, which became direct war, we have successfully
solved that and secured our congress after UK decided to attack us for
real, we also managed to remain in peace with eSpain
-We created new forums, this time those forums are already being used a lot
-We have stability in congress after the last congress elections
-We made a lot of new friendships, we proved ourselves as good allies once again
-We increased supplies for Irish Army
-We remained in positive financional balance
-We made sure National council discuss important things, there has
been no PTO's this month

As you can see a lot of things has been done even if we had internal conflicts and difficulties we managed to stay on the right track. The thing that hurt us most is exactly those internal conflicts, our enemies - UK played on the card "Divide et impera" ; sadly some of our citizens fall into the trap and only harmed our own country. We witnessed a lot of British articles, especially from their MoFA about our referendum, about our new alliance and about our future. It's the Irish who will choose the way eIreland will go. Noone else. After UK realised that Ireland being in the CUA is dangerous for them they've tried to make us not join that alliance, they have tried to divide us, and I believe that's pretty obvious today.



I'm sad I can't say we've been united this term, but I hope that will change next month, I'm pretty sure it will after having talks with some of our citizens. We finally have to make peace between all groups in eIreland, stop the useless trolling between each other, because it doesn't help anyone, it just harms our eIreland and I believe we should all put eIreland above anything else. I'll try to communicate more with everyone, I accept some part of the guilt because of current situation. This was the only thing I wasn't happy about this term.



Ministry of Defence had pretty easy job this term, they've been constantly writing articles with orders, Seanan did great job leading the Irish Army and that was hardest duty he had. I think he has done
briliant job, you could have seen a lot of contests, games and other articles made to put some more life into the Irish Army. We've raised their supplies to make us more competitive comparing to other countries national MU's. We'll keep doing that aswell.



Ministry of Foreign Affairs probably had hardest job this term, we were on bilion meetings, we've been in talks with a lot of people, we made sure our allies knows we're here for them, we managed to join
alliance and I think that in this month of diplomatic strenght has been increased a lot, it will be more obvious soon when our real wars start. My dear MoFA team, columbia and Raven Anarcho made sure
everything works how it's supposed to. We also reborned our ambassador project which has been forgotten.



Ministry of Finances had a lot of job to do. We made a lot of money, we spent only what we had to. We found sponsors for most of tanks distributed for mercenaries and we had a little more expenses for our
army then in last months, which I believe is a good investment. AppleMan kept everything secured and he has been running all our orgs to make us more money through Monetary Market. Most important we’ll finish this term in “plus” and we’ll continue to make more and more money.



Ministry of Immigrations tried to make sure that we only accept those applicants who are “checked”. It’s naturally there’s always be some exceptions, because game mechanics doesn’t let this Ministry to do its job except advising our congressmans. A discussion about it started on our new forum and I hope we’ll find some solution how to reduce amount of applications accepted without MoI approval. Uljanov, Raven and Ian gave their best to make sure we reduce risk of PTO in eIreland.



Ministry of Community done great job this term, they’ve been counting votes on ratification referendum, WHS made us a completely new, great-looking forum and I have to say, great job MoC! Except new forum and being counter MoC entertained us with lotto and other games too.



Ministry of Education tried to keep up with the latest changes in game, unfortunatly our MoE didn’t had so much time to play this game like in my last term when he’s been MoE, but I’m sure he’ll have more time next term. We have a lot of things to do and a lot of tutorials to write to make sure our new players have easy start in this game.



Babyboom project - Some discussions has been started, but we’re depending on moomoohead pretty much, I believe he’s probably the only guy every Irishmen would trust to give RL money. That’s why we’ll have to delay this project for a while. Basicly we’ve been discussing how to create a baby boom, what to do and who will help out in it. For now, we can only spam RL media and that’s pretty much all. Until moo gets back on full power.



WAR WITH THE UNITED KINGDOM
As you could notice we’re in war with UK. This time for real, this is not a training war or some kind of joke. There is several reason we’ve decided to attack them.
Firstly, Argentina, a member of our alliance asked for our help there, since we’ve just recently joined CUA Brotherhood it is a good chance to prove ourselves as great allies. Even bigger reason to jump in this conflict is Argentinian baby boom, they are expecting to have biggest baby boom in this game ever and I think it will be exactly that. Stronger ally of eIreland means stronger Ireland. That’s a fact. We’re willing to help Argentina to have their baby boom and to stay on British island for a long time.
Another reason was behaviour of British MoFA, they’ve tried to influence our referendums, to question our choice and to interfere in our internal things. As I already explained in the beginning of my article, they’ve been complaining how we didn’t add ACT in our referendum, ACT is trial alliance for TWO, or in practice puppet alliance of TWO (it never happened one of the ACT members actually joined TWO), of course UK would like us to be their puppets and they’ve tried to start internal fights over here to stop us from joining CUA which doesn’t suits for them. Why? Of course because that means we will always be their threat. No matter peace or war. I’m sorry some of our citizens fallen on this propaganda or tried to get political points by pointing this out or trolling about being “biased”. I think that ratification vote actually showed how big support CUA idea has in eIreland and I’m really happy about it.

Argentina Airstriked UK soon after our NE on them. It means that CUA attacked UK - TWO members, it will be interesting what will happen next, but we’re ready for anything. We’ll coordinate our forces with Argentinian and all CUA members of course. We’re calling for our allies and friends from EDEN, we’re calling USA, our friends from Canada and other Asgard countries to join us in our fight.

Another reason, of course, is to finally have one Ireland on one island - our island. It’s the dream not only in real life, but also a reason why many play this game, I’m sure it won’t be easy, but this is our best chance to try that. We’ll need unity, we’ll need coordination and smart fights, we’ll need allies and we’ll need luck. Prepare for the war, the Irish Unification War.

As you could notice I’m running for the Irish President once again. I feel we just started so many good projects that it would be shame to stop now. I’ll be honest with you, I wasn’t so motivated to run for another term, but there was noone else who seriously wanted to become a President and had a plan to maintain the good work we’ve started last month.

My team will stay same, except a little changes maybe due to RL obligations of some of our cabinet members, I’ll add few more people in, but generally this team stays in charge. I believe we’ve done good job, but I also believe we have to finish some things. Especially considering our new alliance - CUA. We have a lot of job to make sure our soldiers and our plans are coordinated with theirs. We’ll have to prove to them and they will have to prove to us in next term.



I have a lot of interested projects in plan, I’ll have to check few more things before promising any of them, so you can expect another article very soon. Some of those projects will be the major ones, as soon as I confirm we can handle them.
