[CP] Official Statement On Ireland And The UK Peace Deal

Good Morning eCanada,

I want to provide you with the official position of the government on the Ireland/UK peace deal and lay out the issues that have forced us to no longer feel that the current Irish Administration can be trusted.

Around the 8th of March, I attended a summit meeting with both the French and Irish CP. In this meeting it was decided that the UK would remain wiped and a Congress would NOT be granted.

About a week later I received a PM from Talon, the UK CP, informing me that a peace deal had been reached. Stunned, I went to my own Congress and prepared to participate in the arrangement. A meeting had been called that evening to work out the details of this agreement. I had no reason to suspect Talon was misleading me. A meeting was going to be held and if he was indeed fabricating, he would look pretty silly at the meeting no? I spoke to Chewy who indicated there was no such deal and Talon was trying to trick me. I was being double crossed but I thought it was Talon who was doing it. I then, and now, believe it was always Chewy who was crossing me. Lets look at what I suspect really occurre😛

I suspect Chewy offered peace to Talon. Chewy they told me there was no such deal. I believe Chewy did this to buy himself more time to go durping in Sweden without threat of a UK damage drain on his campaign plans. When I exposed the double cross, Chewy was forced to step in and spin the situation to make it look as though I was off my rocker. He claimed repeatedly that he had no interest in peace, there was no chance of a deal, blah, blah blah. What else COULD he do...he got caught playing both sides and now he had to do something or risk serious collateral damage inside and outside his alliance. I wholeheartedly believe Chewy tried to screw us in that deal but got caught.

Yesterday morning I received a PM from Chewy asking me to set my National DO to Sweden so he could close out the Swedish Campaign. I did so without thinking twice as that is what alliance partners do. Irish battles have consistently held the first or second priority in our battle orders ever since Chewy went off to Sweden. That evening, I am informed through Talon and his newspaper, that a peace deal has been reached with the UK and Ireland!

What? A Peace deal? Impossible. Chewy had just what, a week ago?, claimed that there was no way a peace deal was going to happen. Did he not shoot down the initial offer I got wind of? Did he not claim I was nuts for believing Talon? Wary of being tricked again, I went to Chewy and was informed directly that a deal had been struck. The UK was going to have a Congress and peace would be had. I then spoke to Talon who advised me the deal had been brokered a couple of days ago.

So the whole time we were supporting Chewy in his campaign in Sweden, he was off double crossing us and working out a deal with the UK. Not once did he so much as send me a PM giving me the heads up on this. Not a word was mentioned of it. Worse, the deal was brokered through ONE HQ as well who are underwriting the agreement.

So let me get this straight, first there is no deal and I am losing my mind. Then Chewy says there is no way he is going to agree to peace. Then he goes off to Durp in Sweden with our support. Then he arranges peace with the UK behind my back. In doing so he has given a ONE nation a Congress as well at a time when ONE is finding momentum. Chewy will try to convince you that this was all about closing a damage drain for EDEN and that he did it in good faith. How can he be trusted when he continues to talk out of both sides of his mouth.

Better still, I spoke to the EDEN SC last night at length who indicated he knew NOTHING about this supposed EDEN damage drain closure strategy. In fact, he knew nothing about ANY agreement to give peace to the UK or grant them a Congress. So let me get this right...Ireland acted completely on their own whilst flipping the bird to two of the occupying countries and bypassing any sort of discussion in EDEN. Interesting.

Last night I declared a NE on Ireland as a means of sending a shot across the bow. I want it to be clear that I am utterly displeased with the actions of the Irish administration. In speaking with the EDEN SC as well, there will be repercussions for Chewy’s actions at the next summit meeting. The EDEN SC is aware that this is the second time in 10 days that the Irish CP has attempted to double cross me. I made it very plain that I will not tolerate this sort of action from a border ally. The EDEN SC was sympathetic to my feelings and asked me to vote down the NE so he could deal with the situation. I agreed to do so and am awaiting the summit meeting to deal with Ireland and their rogue administration.

Lastly, I think its important to note that many EPC members seem to be taking up Irish citizenship as of late. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Based on the past two events, I would not be surprised if Ethel Rosenberg, a known EPC sympathizer and current Irish MoFA, is working with Chewy on something more sinister.

The judgement of my actions to NE has been harsh. I understand why you would feel that way. I hope however, that after reading this article, you will take up the same degree of suspicion and distrust of Ireland as I have.

Its very telling when your enemies (UK) tell you that the only person being honest in their dealings with them has been eCanada. You may not like my actions at times, but you can’t deny that they have been warranted. I hope the next CP of both Ireland and eCanada can sort this out, otherwise I see a war coming.
