[CP] Office of the President – Keeping Azore free from UK aggression

After many long fought battles, the Portugal island of Azores was freed from Spain/UK just in time for a Congress election. UK attempted a second shot at Azores by once again attacking Newfoundland. This negated our pending training war with Ireland and created serious ill will between Ireland and the United Kingdom. In the wee hours of the morning a deal was struck between the two.
Ireland planned on move forward with a training war with UK by attacking the occupied Newfoundland. This will close our war with UK and remove their access Portugual. Due to a eRepublik bug, Ireland was prevented from attacking Newfoundland before a new Resistance war in Newfoundland was started.
At this time Ireland is fighting with the UK to keep Newfoundland, after which time they will follow through by attacking Newfoundland themselves. To assist in this endeavor you may fight either fight on the UK side or not at all in Newfoundland.

Thanks for the update. Guess I'll be moving back from NFLD, since our DO will likely not be set there.
We're going to have to the word out to eCanada via shouts and such if we want this message relayed.

It only makes sense that our fighters mess up UK and Ireland's Training War plan like UK did with eCan-Ireland's. I know it's accidental, yet accidents tend to define UK-Can-Ire relations. : )

Im still not seeing why I should care. Explain in plain English why eCanada should care about 2 other nations using our land for fun. I've got 1300 energy and a bunch of ebars to run along and drop to liberate Nfld.
If we liberate Newfie now our war with the UK continues, because we will still have a border with them. If the Irish take Newfie we will no longer have a border with the UK, which will cause our war to end, and then we can just liberate it from the Irish.

This will also help protect Portugal's Island of Azores from the UK. What happened to all the people who had been screaming for that? Close the war with the UK and do Ireland a favor at the same time. Get some TP points. Jacobi would approve.
a word of advice foxfire would be 1: use a little more clear and concise wording of an article explaining the end of our war with the UK. example [CP] war with eUK ends. clear and simple.
2: keep the public a little more up to date on whats going on when it happens, i may have missed it but i was kinda in the dark the last couple days to what was going on. you have a Cabinet! use them!

Do as I say, this is an edict!!!
We lose out on a training war with the Irish because of the UK and our leadership repays us by grabbing their ankles. But on the bright side we get nothing tangible, just "goodwill" and "friendship" and a well deserved reputation as a world jobber. ALL COUNTRIES - go ahead and take a dump on eCanada and we'll repay you by letting you use one of our provinces for a playground. Another great outcome of the training war between UK and Ireland is that the next time we get into it with them they will have the benefit of higher ranks due to damage bonuses. I'm sure our training war will start any minute now.
I'm glad Portugal is safe. As a thank you are they going to send us a Coffee Cake? Maybe some Butter Tarts? Sounds delicious.
So now that the war with the UK is closed can we start that training war with Ireland now? As long as we coordinate our attacks with Ireland and the UK there should not be any adverse effects for Ireland.
Of course Doggstar, take a few Portuguese egg tarts then 🙂
