[CP] Norway [DE|EN]

Guten Tag werte Mitbürger,
heute geht es um Norwegen, ihr NE Proposal und der Hintergrund des Ganzen.

Wir hatten im Januar nicht nur eine Union mit Dänemark, sondern halfen ebenfalls Norwegen bei ihrem PTO Problem und hatten Kontrolle über die Regionen Sorlandet und Westlandet. Jedoch entschied sich Polen gegen Ende Januar dazu unsere schönen Länder zu verwüsten. Wir haben es in diesem Krieg mit Hilfe unserer Alliierten geschafft Polen in ein Unentschieden zu zwingen und danach Verhandlungen geführt, in denen wir 3 Regionen an sie abgetreten haben. Während dieses Krieges waren wir gleichzeitig in der Lage alle Regionen in Dänemark zu halten, jedoch waren wir ebenfalls gezwungen die Regionen in Norwegen abzugeben da es unsere Truppen überforderte. Das ganze geschah um die Zeit vom 27.-30. Januar, sprich kurz nach den Kongresswahlen, das Hauptziel Norwegen den Kongress zu verweigern wurde damit erreicht. Nachdem wir mit Polen Frieden geschlossen hatten, war unser Interesse daran Norwegen zurückzuholen sehr groß und wurde mit ihrem Regierungsteam sowie Präsident im Februar, besprochen. Wir haben bestimmt zehnmal mit ihnen korrespondiert und selbst Anfragen auf Mietzahlungen zugesagt, dennoch dauerte es bis März bis der norwegische Präsident in Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Team in der Lage war zu antworten. Die damalige Antwort war: “Nein!”. Begründet wurde das mit der Angst der Norweger davor einen Kongress zu bekommen, da wir ja wie ersichtlich anhand des Polenkrieges nicht in der Lage wären Norwegen im Zweifelsfall besetzt zu halten. Nun, okay wir haben einen ganzen Monat damit verschwendet ihnen klarzumachen das ein solcher Krieg nunmal nicht an der Tagesordnung ist, aber natürlich haben wir ihre Entscheidung akzeptiert und respektiert.
Nun wurde ich letzten Monat von Norwegen kontaktiert mit der Bitte Nordjylland an Norwegen abzugeben, da diese Region Norwegen einen zusätzlichen Bonus geben würde und sie in der Lage wären einen Krieg zu führen. Ich lehnte dies ab. Diesen Monat wurde ich erneut kontaktiert mit der gleichen Bitte, und ich lehnte erneut ab. Zwischenzeitlich wurde ich erneut von ihnen kontaktiert jedoch erfolglos, da sie durch Pech Tage und Uhrzeiten erwischt haben in denen ich nicht anwesend war. Nun ja. Nach diesem Artikel und ihrem NE Proposal, scheinen einige wenige daran interessiert zu sein diese Region gegen den Willen Dänemarks und Deutschlands zu bekommen. Wenn man die Kommentare liest wird einem schnell klar das die Mehrheit mit diesen Schritten nicht einverstanden ist und es keine Probleme geben wird. Ich muss dazu sagen, dass ich ihre Situation nachvollziehen kann, trotzdem bin ich der Meinung das sie selbst mit Russlands Hilfe nicht in der Lage sein werden die Region Nordjylland zu verteidigen und am Ende unsere Truppen für Norwegen in Nordjylland kämpfen müssen, was ich als Verschwendung ansehe.
Deswegen auch nochmal hier offiziell, es ist nicht in dänisch/deutschem Interesse die Region Nordjylland abzugeben von daher ein Wort an Norwegen: “Nein!”.

this article is related to the Norwegian NE proposal, it contains a bit of history on that matter and the official answer.

In January we not only had a union with Denmark, but we also helped Norway with their PTO threat, Sorlandet and Westlandet were under German control. At the end of January our friendly neighbour Poland decided to ravage our country. With the help of our allies and outstanding MoD work we were able to force Poland into a stalemate and opened negotiations, which lead to giving Poland three Regions. During that war we held the Danish regions but were forced to give up Norway because trying to win three wars simultaneously was stretching our forces too much. This happened at the end of January between the 27th-30th, which means we were ultimately able to deny them having a congress. Naturally after we signed the peace treaty with Poland we wanted to get the Norwegian regions back and we talked to their President and government a lot. We contacted them on the issue about ten times and we were even willing to pay rent but it took Norway until march to come up with an answer. The answer was “No!”. The reasons for that decision based on the fear of the Norwegian people that we would not be able to keep Norway wiped if it was necessary, the war against Poland and the resulting loss of the Norwegian regions served as an example. Well, we now wasted a month of time to explain that a war like this isn’t daily business, but in the end we accepted and respected their decision.
Last month I was contacted by the Norwegian CP to release Nordjylland and give it to Norway, because it would give them the opportunity to have a war and also another Bonus. I declined. This month I was contacted again with the same request and I declined again. They tried to contact me a few more times but had bad luck with the timing and were not able to reach me. Well now after this article and their NE proposal towards Germany, it would seem that a few people are interested in getting the region against the will of Denmark and Germany. When reading the comments it becomes obvious that the majority does not approve of these steps and that we are not going to have any trouble. I have to admit, that I can understand their situation, yet I do not believe in their ability to keep Nordjylland down, not even with the help of Russia. I think in the end it will be German troops fighting for Norway in Nordjylland in order to keep them down which in my opinion is a waste of resources and manpower. This is the official statement and answer to Norway. It is not in the interest of Denmark or Germany to release Nordjylland so here it goes: “No!”.
