Citizens of Ireland,
Tomorrow Sunday the 24th April at 14:00 eRepublik time we will be holding a National Summit on #IrishArmy to discuss important national matters.
Please do your utmost best to attend and have your say in your nations future. We want to hear as many opinions on this issue.
The meeting will also coincide with the launching of some new Community activities.
Apologies for the brief article and short notice but I have not been at my laptop tonight and am writing this on my phone.

good stuff. not sure how 24 hours can be described as short notice.
Considering that I saw it 6 hours ago, making my notice about ~9 hours, that's pretty short notice. I understand this is the Internet and thus "Serious Business," but I count myself among the many of us that have jobs and social obligations.
Additionally, eRepublik says this article was written about 17 hours ago, and with a time to meeting of 2:30, then it was about 19-20 hours notice if I saw it on second. Furthermore, when this is advertised as our chance to "have your say in your nations future," a week might be more appropriate notice, or the issue could be handled in time-shifted methods such as PMs and articles. The large majority of eIrish don't use IRC and have never used IRC.
I have a busy work, family and social life too. I put all of them before erep. For this reason I will not complain when someone on the internet has a Serious Business meeting and makes decisions without me, The people who put the most time and effort into a game should get the most out of it. I'm fine with people who commit more of their time to the game than I do having more of a say than I do. I do not think it would be fair of me to ask them to wait a week to hold a meeting just because I have better things to be doing with my life.
I can certainly understand that, but for such high stakes as is described in the article, surely alternative methods would be better suited, or more notice. Even 1 days notice is a bit short to adjust schedules. I unfortunately am in the top 10% of eIreland for time spent in game, if for no other metric than article writing, haha. I just so happen to be on the road at 14:00, 🙂.
