Such a short time and we’re already at mid term for me. In barely two weeks we’ve managed to accomplish a lot of work maybe not perfectly visible for you but underneath you’ll find a report for each department of the government.



First we’ll start with the largest department of the government, the ministry of Home Affairs. They’re also notable for being the most visible in the daily lives of our citizens. Their job includes MoFUN, Education, Immigration and other general work in home affairs.

The most active one publically has been Cooke4444 hosting a myriad of games and fun as Minister of FUN. Over the past two weeks MoFUN has managed to bring forth no less then 4 events (Tasks4Gold, Learn to survive, BEF for creativity and the national Lottery). The total prizes for these for events amount to about 10.000 BEF and 2 Gold. Education works mostly in the shadows contacting new players every day. Aldous Zamiatin’s and Cotarius’ work consists mostly of welcoming youngings to eRepublik and helping them out with information when needed. A total of ** citizens was contacted in the past two weeks.

In order to protect national security against PTO threats, an immigration policy is in place. For some time now this is handled by olv007. A total of 18 Immigration requests has been worked on so far. The more general tasks of MoHA concerned primarily in research work for law proposals that should see the light in the coming weeks. This vast effort has been supported by the entire department and coordinated by MaryamQ who put in most work in that effort.

As a nice side effect of all this activity, several citizens and friends of the state have stepped up either by donations (ex. Fhaemita Malodorous), organizing games themselves (Eurovision by el1temkd) or stimulating in game activity (media awards by MaryamQ).



Moving on to the Foreign Affairs. The beginning of the month has been rather calm according to our minister, shadowukcs. A sufficient number of MPPs was signed at the end of the previous term and we’re still good for more then a week. Due to the current international situation a training war seems excluded as we do not wish to be wiped at this time. The MoFA team has been in close contact with our neighbours except for eFrance and our allies except for eHungary during the first half of this term.



The minister of Finance, GoopyPants, has finished ongoing work in the Belgian accounting sheets to simplify the overview and create a trace for loans given out by the state. Since the beginning of this term 38,000 BEF in loans have been reimbursed.

In the meanwhile at the Ministry of Defense, Critically failed miserably at killing enemies of the state. There have been none even if it was close with a rogue NE proposal by a congress member in eNetherlands. We received a prompt reaction thanks to our vigilant congress members and MoD. In case something should happen, nothing to fear ! The minister has prepared a defense plan and command structures have been formalized. Aside from that the military units receiving state funding, BAF and BTA have received a short evaluation.



In the meanwhile at the president’s office the VP and CP are discussing how they can further pretend to be working for the betterment of the state while all others do a good job. I hope you enjoy the work of this government and will see you again for a next article in due time !
