[CP] Kongressplan erfolg... ohwait [DE|EN]

Guten Tag,
nach einer Verhandlungsphase die sich gefühlte 3 Jahre hingezogen hat, kann ich euch heute einen neuen Vertrag mit Polen präsentieren, welcher uns Dänemark und Norddeutschland sichert. Dadurch ist gesichert das Dänemark keinen Kongress hat, was der Hauptgrund meiner Verhandlungsbereitschaft war. Ich denke ich muss keinen daran erinnern das wir uns in einer Union mit Dänemark befinden und uns dazu verpflichtet haben sie vor einem PTO zu schützen. Aufgrund der mangelnden Optionslage und nach Rücksprache mit dem Kongress, habe ich mich dazu durchgerungen einen Vertrag auszuarbeiten und denke ich habe das bestmögliche Ergebnis erreicht. Wir werden 7 Regionen, 4 Boni haben und Dänemark den Kongress verweigern können, wo die Serben bereits in Lauerstellung liegen. Zu den anderen Optionen noch kann man nur sagen das die Möglichkeit sie umzusetzen zwischen utopisch und unmöglich lagen, oder selbst wenn man sie erreichen würde ein Restrisiko geblieben wäre das Dänemark einen Kongress bekommt, was ich halt um jeden Preis verhindern wollte.

Ich habe unserem Kongress den Vertrag präsentiert und er hat ihn mit der überwältigenden Mehrheit von 88% (14 Stimmen dafür) angenommen. Es gab 2 Stimmen dagegen und keine Enthaltung.



Nachdem ich von einer Anfrage Irlands gegenüber Polens mitbekommen habe, in welcher es darum ging Dänemark an Irland abzugeben, war es mir sehr wichtig den Vertrag mit Polen so schnell wie möglich umzusetzen. Nach einem kurzen Gespräch, ca 5 Zeilen, mit dem irischen Präsident, habe ich sie gebeten sich aus deutsch/dänischen Affären rauszuhalten. Nun ja, auch wenn der Vertrag noch nicht unterzeichnet ist habe ich Polen darum gebeten heute schon Midtjylland freizugeben damit unser Zeitfenster für einen Angriff auf Dänemark so groß wie möglich ist. Sie haben dem zugestimmt wie man hier sehen kann. Es ist jedoch sehr problematisch den RW zu gewinnen weil nunmal, ähnlich wie bei uns, die Kriege gegen Dänemark eine beliebte Quelle für schnelle Kills sind und daher massenweise Polen gegen die Orders der Regierung kämpfen um ihre Missionen zu beenden. Gleichzeitig hat sich der irische Präsident in Zusammenarbeit mit seinem Kongress dazu entschieden ohne Rücksprachen mit TEDEN geschweige denn uns Dänemark den Krieg zu erklären. Damit haben sie uns die letzte Chance geraubt die Kongresswahlen vernünftig durchzuführen. Ihr Ziel wird es sein Polen vom Norden her anzugreifen, was nicht klappen wird falls Polen andere Schlachten wie die Kriege in den Niederlanden oder gegen Kroatien einer niedrigeren Priorität zuordnet und mit mehr Einsatz Midtjylland freigibt. Dadurch wäre nämlich die mögliche Grenze zwischen Polen und Irland gekappt und die ganze Irland Aktion für die Katz. Alles in allem ändert es nicht daran das ich die A****karte gezogen hab und trotz Dauerplanungen, stundenlangen Verhandlungen, Absprachen mit unseren Nachbarn nun unseren Plan nicht bis zu den Kongresswahlen durchführen kann.

Nun können wir uns darauf freuen von den äußerst schlagkräftigen Iren befreit zu werden. Die Vertragspräsentation wird damit erstmal vertagt.

Good evening,
after having negotiations which felt like ages, I can now present the new treaty with Poland, which is going to secure Denmark and Northern Germany. This also secures that Denmark is not going to have a congress, which was the main reason for my willingness to negotiate. I doubt that I have to remind anyone of our union with Denmark and our obligation to secure them from a PTO. Because of the lack of options and after debating in congress, I worked out a treaty and in my oppinion achieved the best possible result. We are going to have 7 regions, 4 bonus and we will be able to deny Denmark congress elections, which is very good since there are already some PTO groups that are getting ready for it. To the other options one could say that the possibility of achieving them are somewhere between impossible and utopic, or even if it could have been achieved there would have still been a risk of Denmark getting the congress, which I'm not willing to do at any price.

I have presented the final version of the treaty to our congress in order to let them vote on it, and it passed with 88% of the votes (14 votes for yes), two were against and nobody abstained.



Once I heard about an offer from the Irish government towards Poland about releasing Denmark to Ireland, I knew I had to push through the treaty with Poland as fast as possible. I had a short chat, about 5 lines, with the Irish president and asked him to stay out of Danish/German affairs. Well, even though the treaty has not been signed yet, I asked the polish government to release Midtjylland today already, so we would have enough time for our attack on Denmark. They agreed to this as you can see here. The problem we were facing in the RW is kind similar to the reason we have when pushing the walls of our Denmark RWs to 80% and more, it's a popular source of one-hit kills, which means there were tons of Poles hitting against government orders to finish their missions. At the same time the Irish president and the Irish congress decided to declare war on Denmark. By doing this they destroyed our last chance of executing our plan for the congress elections properly. Ireland is going to attack Poland from the north, which is going to fail in case Poland decides to lower their priority on other battles and focus on returning Denmark to the map, which is again going to remove the border between Ireland and Poland. All things considered this is not going to change the fact that I have drawn the shortest draw, despite tons of time creating plans, hours of negotiations, arrangements with out neighbours it is not going to be possible to carry out our plan until the congress elections.

We can count ourselves lucky to have the hard hitting Irish who are going to liberate us. The presentation of the treaty will be adjourned.
