[CP] I Resign

Dear eGerman citizens

Today I will announce that I will resign from the presidency of eGermany. With many real life issues from a death of a friend, one sick in hospital, and one that tried to kill himself on Saturday night, I have become sloppy. My mind and my heart is no longer this post. For days my unhappiness in my real life is really not express-able in words. And due to my real life problems, many saw me to be a bit dethatch of my normal self.

Last night I made a huge error in that when a person on IRC with the nick of the Macedonian CP, asked for gold loan and I accepted it. This same person also tricked the French MoFA as well. The Turks got scammed as well. There was not any ministers online and I faced an interesting and challenging dilemma. Macedonia could be an very important ally of eGerman future as talks with Panam was not going well for both Germany and for UK. I was frustrated with both real life and the lack of progress with the alliance talks that I let my standards go and I really did not double check etc. I "loan" the scammers 500 gold and I apologized to you all for my drop in standards and carelessness. I take responsibility of my actions and that is why I resigned.

I know the congress did not start the impeachment because they want revenge or something of that nature but I requested this. I really need some time off from such a position as I really do not think I can take on both RL, CP, and the start of school anymore. I did wrote the ticket and I am not sure will we get the gold back. Regardless, the ticket was written and it is in the hands of the admin now.

The reason why I resign is that the error of last night confirms that my RL problem effects my standards in the game. There are many warning signs but for some reason I missed last night. I think it is best for both eGermany and myself to resign and to give the helm to a person who is 100 percent mentally in the role of CP.

I really want to take this time to talk about the alliance as well. It is really uncertain will we get into Panam or not but regardless we need to work hard on all efforts. Slayer and the gov knows of our situation and he will do us proud. My advice is while you do aim for one alliance you want, you should have a backup plan just in case. In an event that Panam does not work, I honestly do believe that our friends in Europe are the best option.

Also, at this time of uncertainty, it is the best for the state not to seek unnecessary war. Unlike the war mongers of Yargestein, Iseutz, and others who craves for war, there is a difference between war of necessity or war of choice. There are no wars of necessity at this time so the state should focus on diplomacy first. I am not saying that we should not fight in any wars at all but make sure that the battles you do fight is that of necessity only.

I apologized that I failed you all with my carelessness. I also hope that you all learned from my error in that make sure the people who you talk to online are who they are. It is easy to wear a fake nick and you really should make sure that that all transactions are that of the person who claimed they are.

I would also want to thank all of the people in my government for their great job. I want to especially thank Alex Drex, KTTRS, Dermont, and Jules for their effort in the past few days. These are the people that really helped me when I need it. I want to thank Frerk, eLisou and Nicolas Bonaparte for their help and efforts.

As to me, I will 2 click and to take it a bit more easy. I also decide to move to eUK for a while and rejoin my beloved TUP. My heart is that of eGermany and KPeD but I think I need some time before I will be I do politics or anything in Germany again. I will still come on IRC and will talk to you all etc. I will make sure that Herr Seidel will get his carrots and that Renvier will get his hugs.
