"CP Entry" - eCanada Forums

I would like to talk to you today about the importance of the eCanada Forums. For those of you who do not use the forums, you may remember reading about them in the message you received from the Prime Minister once you started the game. This is a friendly reminder which states a few key reasons that you should really check it out:
1) Immigration Canada
This is your chance to become officially recognized as an eCanadian citizen. Did you think the $5 CAD that you received when you joined the game was a pleasant gift? Once you register through the immigration services, you are eligible to obtain an even larger eCanadian Grant, just by showing that you have the initiative to become a citizen!
2) Friendly Citizens
There are currently 891 citizens registered on the forums, and the most frequent users are willing and able to aid you upon the first request! Need somebody to scratch your back? The forums are great for finding a buddy with whom you can exchange gifts; people who show commitment to this game and who will be able to gift you promptly. On top of that, the forums contain a fully comprehensive list of frequently asked questions that could answer any question that you have or probably will have in the near future. It really is exciting! If by some chance your question is not answered in the FAQ section, remember, there are always experienced players signed in who most likely will know the answer. Just create a new thread with your question and it will probably be answered within the hour.
3) The Government
Do you want to make a difference in your country? From my experience in eCanada, I have never seen a person get lost in the crowd when they are trying to become involved in 'higher-up' government procedures. The eCanada Forums host all of the Congress discussions and voting, and while you will have to make it into congress to access this section, there will always be a new government title which you could achieve, should you show interest. Serving as Justice on the Supreme Court is a great start! There you will have the opportunity to converse with other justices and get familiar with eCanada's constitution and penal code.
As resident of eCanada, signing up on the Forums is your only true civic duty.

Who is doing the masking, and giving the money out now? I read on the forums that Phineas Cage was banned/ suspended. Who should new citizens PM about masking?

Masking is done by sending a private message to Alexander Rearden after you have signed up on the forums.
To receive your additional Grant, you must also sign up on the forums and then send a message to the 'Immigration Canada' Organization.
Both of these accounts can be found in game by using the search box at the top of the eRepublik page.
Why was Phineas banned?>
He says that several of his family member were using his computer to play, and working at his company or something. He had tried to notify the admins of this fact before being banned.. but they apparently did not acknowledge it. He says it is for the best, though. His wife thinks he has been playing far too much, anyway. hah...

Creativity/Originality – 8.5/10: not a new issue to be raised, but the method of laying out the reasons is fresh, reads like a promotional advertisement – a good idea, but may be overlooking/ignoring how daunting the forum can be for a new player

Nice article, I especially liked how you outlined why people should join the forums and not just plainly telling people to join them. Good examples of what goes on in the forums and if I was a new player I would have probably of joined them after reading your article.
