[CP Candidate] Confession
Majester
I wish to join the current trend and confess to all the government scandals I am involved in and my justifications for my despicable actions.
With that off my chest, thank you.

An article just like your last several terms as CP 😉
You knew it had to be said.
this ironically is a foretaste of what Australia will be doing if you were to be elected
Mmm, so the choice is this or the other -justification- confession. Tough choices indeed.
Past CP Questions
Who was the CP when the following happened? And - Was it good, bad, or indifferent?
1. Held a fish bonus.
2. Blocked Chile from attacking NZ by occuping Auckland. (Chile and Aus were friends with many MMPs) Chile was not happy about it
3. Left EDEN because they didn't help us enough.
4. Occuped Auckland allowing Chile to NE us.
5. Gave out tax refunds.
These are just a few of the things I remember the government doing. Any others??
3. That was me. : P
it was blocking Argentina and it was Larni Kaddlestorm not Majester who did that
and leaving EDEN was not a bad thank.
1. Majester
2. Srg for 2 weeks/Larni 6 (me)
2.5 Held 10 regions 2 x months of 2mil tax revenue - Me....
3. Lancer
4. Binda
5. NFI..... I do remember getting a little cash back (because of point 2.5 but who's keeping score)
to clarify 2.5 Srg started the thing, I just used it to our advantage.
Good thing you had a great VP, Dany... or was he useless too?
oh I had the best VP around Maj. 🙂 and I always tell everyone running for CP to make sure that 'person' is in their cabinet simply for the wisdom, experience and level head they bring to the table. For the life of me I can't remember his name though 😉 (yes it was Majester)
Haters gonna hate, Majester's gonna save.
Any CP claiming credit for a single thing is difficult especially when it comes to foreign affairs. Most results are born from months of work setting up conditions by the foreign affairs teams.
So, while Srg led Aus's second expansion (I did the first into Peru), the diplomatic conditions to get China and USA involved is squashing Indo were set up by Timeoin and I. Similarly, with the Tax Refunds, while I can claim the initiative, the economic conditions took 4 months to set up before our tax policy was right and we had the regions to generate the income needed to do so. Lancer450 left EDEN, but only after I got us more actively involved and tried to get more Aussie HQ staff. Subsequent administrations kept up some effort, but its only by having people inside EDEN that we came to fully understand how pointless membership was for us.
Don't get me wrong, the helped us a lot during a very bad PTO, but they were there for us militarily maybe twice a year for 3 days. And while I had an unpopular policy of trying to get closer to Argentina to more effectively deal with New Zealand (we were actually trying to free Chile and get NZ to just stop NEing us every other day while cashing in a bit of Iron), it fell apart because of inherent differences between Aus and Arg.Chile's invasion totally blindsided everyone because of Aus going to bat for them for so long with Arg; so blaming Binda is a fundamental misunderstanding of foreign relations at that point or just plain opportunistic. If anything, I still blame myself for not anticipating it as the MoD. The FA people were equally surprised. Only liars saw it coming.
The strength of a good CP is refining the work done to date, building on the good stuff, rethinking the bad, all the while getting the country to pull together in the same direction. If they have a strong Senate, its easier. If not, its sheer hell. Your true mettle is tested when shit happens and you have to hold it together -- and those CPs are largely unsung.
Good points. I freely admit I had it easy in my two terms simply cause of the state eAus was in when I 'came into power' (you know what I mean) and took advantages of that.
Others have not had it so easy and worked tirelessly against all odds. Some have been successful and lets be honest some CP's have just been total crap. It's the risk you take.
There is no doubt in this election Majester has the runs on the board, you can't deny that and I've even said myself its a win win election (now that Gatto has gone) and I would never consider a CP run without him in my Cabinet.
We either get the old war horse at the helm or we get the new blood this month. It will be an interesting election either way.
Oh, where did Gatto go ?
From what I read here, Chile are even lower than anything I have yet to call them, they are scumbags of the highest order, Chile deserve to be wiped by Argentina forever. Backstabbing, cheating, lying rats are Chile. Never forgive them for their cowardly actions.
