[CP] Cabinet announcement

Dear Belgians and other nationalities,

We are now the 9th of may and I am in office since 3 days now. I heard that some of you where waiting for the cabinet announcements and feared that nothing was done in the meanwhile. Don’t worry this has not been the case. All the new ministers where PMed now and I received all confirmation that they still wanted the job, so that there were no surprises. Some of them already started to work (or kept working) and for the others I did it myself in the meanwhile.

Now, I am not going to make you wait any longer. Here is the cabinet for May 2010 :

1 – MoFA : Minister of Foreign Affairs

This month our minister of Foreign Affairs will be WelshLad or Pallyohale IG. A few of you will know him, but not a lot. Despite the fact that we can consider him as a tank with 40 strength and that he ranks as 7th strongest in our country, he is not named MoD.

I’ve known him for a while now and I am sure that he will do the job just great. He is a hard working person that did a wonderful job in the eUK military before having to leave it for a mistake he made. I still trust him and I will back him as I must.

He is an independent member in Belgium for the moment. His job will be very simple, MoFA was a quite ministry and we had barely relations with our neighbors. This will change. WelshLad will organize our embassy system and will be on the IRC channels of our closest neighbors at all time so that they have someone to talk to in case of need.



2 – MoD : Minister of Defense

After a month with barely a military activity I plan to change this by naming one of the most active Belgians to this post. He is a Free Belgium member, ex-member of the eUS military and has more than 300 posts on our national forum. I think of none else than Medrolke.

He has already some good ideas about how to start a real military force, help younger players raise their strength and I am sure he will do a great job recruiting and managing our military force in case of invasion.



3 – MoF : Minister of Finance

The first RL Belgian of my government, not long ago he was still spamming the eUNL forums but I am now glad that I convinced him to come and spam ours. Despite this spammy attitude, he has already occupied several ministerial positions in the eUNL government and has a great knowledge of the game.

He will be made responsible for the regulation of the MM that will start right away and keeping track of the income and expenditure of our country. A spreadsheet has been set up and that can be found on the forums detailing our daily tax income and the evolution of our monetary positions.

This position will be occupied by Theneka, a new LCP member.



4 – MoSC : Minister of State Companies

One of my closest friends that took over the job when I left it a month ago, already minister last month has accepted to continue his job. He will be in charge of the management of the State Companies located in eBE state companies providing jobs to our new players.

I am here talking of no one less than Hugo Lilly



5 – MoE : Minister of Economics

A new ministry I wanted to introduce this month, the minister of Economics. He will be in charge of finding ways to improve our economy, help the state make more money and get more investors in our country. A large job for a tiny man, but I am sure that he will manage all this just fine.

For this job I chose : Helviro , a Res Belgica member and that has been active around us for some times now. He has a good knowledge of the eRepnomics and will along with me and the MoF help our economy grow!



6 – MoHA : Ministry of Home Affairs

A ministery that never stopped working and as they say in French : “On ne change pas une équipe qui gagne”. This is why the team of last month will continue the job. They are responsible for PMing the new citizens, sending out tutorials when needed and creating more fun in our newspapers or forums.

Our new minister will be Gibberish45 assisted by Aldous Zamiatin.



7 – Last but not least : Cabinet Secretary

This last person will be my right hand, helping me keep track of who has access where, gathering information from minister and transferring it to me and fill in when I am absent. He will also collaborate closely with congress to transfer information between both of them (when necessary). For this, as it can be an important job, I chose someone with experience of leading a government. He was elected 5 times president and 4 times in congress, he was the first person in Belgium to get all the medal. I am talking about no one less that ThomasRED.



8 – Closing words

As you can see my dear Belgians, a very equilibrated government with people coming from nearly every single party in Belgium. I tried to chose the best persons for the job so that they could lead their team the best they could.

I wish them all the luck to do the job as well as possible. But, don’t forget : they cannot do this job on their own. Some of them might need people assisting them. Keep a close watch about what is published on the forum or in the newspapers because that is where you will be able to apply if you wish to help !
