Like the tory government some parts of cabinet haven’t performed to the standard that I expect.
Ok guys, during my term I promised a solid, active month. Well I have a few issues with my cabinet that now must be addressed. When performance drops (which is expected) people tend to get bored, lose interest, find a girlfriend, exams etc etc. Well you change things up and don’t do an Apple and fall completely into inactivity.
Vice President ~ Angela Williams
AW has been dropped unfortunately due to inactivity. I know he had a real life issue regarding a ripped stomach muscle. Anyway we received a mail a few days saying he was back but again nothing since. I wish AW a speedy recovery.
You may call me V who was my other Vice President will now fulfil the position soley. I may be looking for a young player who wants a taste of how cabinet works. So if this interests you contact me (ps. must be IRC active)
Minister of Defence ~ Sir RobertV
Robert has come in with no past experience and has done well but you cannot break down relationships with our biggest tanks. Regardless if he is a “Tank”, fighter, 2 clicker or non fighter.. we are all the same and everyone earns the same level of respect no matter what their position.
I’m sure Robert will learn from this like I did my first CP term. You must never react and rise up to people who want to troll you. Thats 90% of being a minister, especially in the UK.
I’m actively looking for a new MoD, the role requires you being, very active, IRC active is must. Basic knowledge of the game mechanics. Aka Weston has been the white rabbit out of the hat for this month. I think he has a bright future within the eUK.
Minister of Finance ~ Huey George + 3 Deputies (+ 1 who was told the passwords)
This change is going to be the controversial one of my cabinet reshuffles so I will explain my reasons why. At the start of my term I knew I was in for a rocky ride from my opposition and tbh I thrive off it. Huey is a well respected political in the UK, so him coming off a MoF term.. it seemed like a no brainer to me.
However I have found a few issues with his team and the slow response to changing passwords as I requested only a few hours into my term. I overlooked this at the time, but he general stance on Appleby stealing 300k and him keeping it quiet.. well that miffed me somewhat.
Then.. Last night after the impeachment vote was started Sir Rex (one of the MoF deputies) ping’d me on IRC reporting that the PCP commune was no longer accessible. Alarm bells started ringing and we checked the new password for July. He was right no access and the account appears to have been emptied. Then after checks on our other orgs it was quick to realise we had lost control and MM cash had been removed. I have raised tickets for these incidents and I’m sure a ban will be applied to whoever took the money.. With the impeachment vote still in motion I’m not sure if the admins will reply to my tickets until after. Anyway this coupled with the Apple stance of backing and defending a thief, I no longer have confidence in my MoF. I mean who actively knows about a CP stealing 4 days before his terms ends.. and supports it?
Effective immediately Huey George has been removed from his position of MoF.
ClairVoyance who has knowledge of using MM fishing will fulfil his position for the remainder of the term. I both trust him and he is active on IRC something else Huey lacked.
I await the ticket info, hopefully the culprit will be identified.
Minister of Foreign Affairs
NWG will be staying in his position, he is experienced and has a well of knowledge. However we lack media presence and informative article regarding wars and our current foreign position. As is such Atohnhaketon will be added to the MoFA to boost presence on the media terms and meetings.

Out of all my time on eRepublik I've never seen anyone removed from cabinet, and you've had to remove two in one article xD.
I love that someone who doesn't want us to be with our current alliance is now partially in charge of our foreign affairs.

How about telling your vCP Dapper that? He seems to think that he can get one up on anyone by pulling their egov4you stats and saying they didn't hit for one day of the week or something absurd like that. I thought you wanted people who agreed with you and supported you? He obviously doesn't support that opinion so therefore you should reign him in 🙂.
Also, if I receive no answer/'baw'/ad hominem then I'll assume you can't answer my points because you have no competent answer.
tbf - It's good to see no-one's position is invulnerable if they go dead or make bad judgements.
To often in the past we clung onto ministers that were beyond their use by date.

It's definitely better to get rid of people and get better people than to stick with them and drag the cabinet down.
Y'know, fair is fair on that one BA. You did good. Still kind of gutting it got to such a situation though.
Getting rid of people this early in the term though, means no progress will be made in the overall term.
Another, none attached point however is; look at all that elitism.
So every inactive or terrible minister in the past should have remained still by your judgement.. that is why you will never be CP.
At the end of the day, my name is above the door atm. Those who work for me/with me are working on my behalf. Anyone who brings that into question will be removed and that's the case here.
I question huey on his position with apple, but at the end of the day as CP.. if I cannot trust my MoF and I keep him, well some CP that right?

Fair enough then mate, the good thing is once the impeachment ends I should get a reply from the admins. Money will be returned and im interested to see which one gets a ban.
I'm quite interested too, pretty sure it's one of the deputies, but then again. I don't know who any of them are 😃.
The problem is one deputy has share the access and gdocs that huey owns to another source :3
And, as I've recently discovered egov4you is shite and misses data. so to use it as evidence someone missed a day, or 2, fighting is pathetic

Huey sacked? one of the most respected eUK citizens??
His response to Apples walking away with £330K tucked into his back pocket was........questionable.
The reasons he gave for doing so were........within understanding.
How he responds to this first black mark on his record will be interesting and hopefully if entrusted with the eUK kitty again he will make sure he's not left holding the bag by an outgoing theif.

All I can say is I would of canned him the moment I discovered his part in the theft.
Hueys a nice chap but given that he rolled over for SHA, I am glad he's gone from Mo£ as BA is a more dominant figure then SHA ever was and we need someone who can call him if he gets tempted to misuse money.
Clairvoyance obv. is not that person either!
Should also note that if BA decides to follow precedent and walk off with a couple of hundred K then no-one can really stop him or bitch about it (apart from maybe PCP).

Hey, nothing suggest it was him who accessed the orgs during the impeachment. His only wrong at this stage was his stance on Apple stealing 300k. Unless his account is banned..
If he is found to be innocent on the most recent charge will he be reinstated?
If his only wrong at this stage was Apples why fire him now? why not wait to see what the admins do?
