New Zealand has won his second title in his own country. France made the game very hard for the All Blacks.
New Zealand had for the first time in the tournament problems with an opponent. France was constantly on the attack, and New Zealand slowly lost confidence.
The Kiwi's made the first try and conversion, but after half time France did the same thing. New Zealand was one penalty in front of them, so France couldn't let things happen. They almost came to some points, but New Zealand's defence held on. Ending score: 8-7.
Australia won the game for third place against Wales.
