Opening
Greetings to all my Brothers and Sisters across this amazing eNation. I come to you today to give you the first of (a planned) three articles on why I'm running for Country President *coughPrimeMinistercough*, and what I will do to better serve you should you give me that privilege. Please be aware, there is a lot of information, and while I have tried to break it up for you with pretty pictures, as well as give a fairly outlined look at the end of each topic as well as labeling each topic, there is still a lot. Please feel free to skim, or simply trust me and vote Cyber.Casper for CP on the 5th of March!

My personal experience and goals
Throughout my time in eRepublik (oh no, this isn't my first account 🙂 ) I've been blessed to work with some of the best CPs our great nation has had, as well as to gain a solid understanding of what eAus has, what she needs, and how to go about achieving that. I've served on cabinets under multiple CPs primarily within the Department of Defence. I've served as Deputy Minister so many times I've lost count, and Minister several times on top of that. These blessed opportunities have given me insight, not only into our military strength and how to grow that, but into the nation as a whole. I've worked with the MoFA team to organise strikes and allies, directly with finance (because those weapons aren't cheap!) as well as the ADF and for a term was a Minister within ASIO (our anti-PTO department). I've seen directly how a great CP builds his or her team from the inside, directs and supports them, and motivates them by not just sitting back and telling them what to do, but by helping (.... like I could keep my hands off those nukes anyway >.>). The reason I am running this term, is because I know I can bring all of my experience together to help build a better nation.

My personal goals for this term (or, if trend continues, these terms) are, assuming none of it is done before hand, concluding the details for a (LONG RANGE, NOT LOCAL GUYS) war which will put us on the map in a serious manner; to approach both alliances (Sirius and Asteria) with regards to our future within the eWorld; increase the DoEE (Department of Education and Entertainment) articles, with a focus towards educating new players; as well as initiate numerous smaller schemes designed to increase the overall gameplay from within eAustralia.

I've served numerous cabinets, done multiple terms as MoD and innumerable terms as dMoD. I would like to grow eAustralia through player retention, player education and assistance, as well as providing a stable (but active!) region base for us to grow from. I'm very hands on, and will not be a CP who sits back and doesn't direct their cabinet.

Department of Education and Entertainment
This is quite possibly a make or break department for most people, and I have a few plans for it. James has been amazing this month at keeping us all entertained, and I would like to continue the lotto-style giveaways, however it is EDUCATION and Entertainment, thus I intend to revive the "Newbies Library", the posting of introductory and explanatory articles to help with the game. I also plan to introduce a paper published (at least) fortnightly detailing events pertaining to the landscape of the eWorld, and our place within it. Finally I would like to introduce a cross platform (forums, paper and an IRC chatroom) method for the public to communicate directly with the cabinet members. This would be used for ideas, debate, as well as generally getting to know what we're actually doing.
