[Can]**Canadians: Action Sounds Good, But Patience is Better**
Banach
Seems like it is indeed. The thing is, why are we rushing to get it back on the map after a couple days? Most people are still exhausted from fighting for Ontario. Half the people who just moved out of Canada used their only tickets and are now working in foreign companies.
While I applaud Jacobi's administration for their quick thinking in getting Canada "back on the map", this is to me no more effective than a diversionary raid on enemy occupied soil a la Dieppe.
While we may keep these three Atlantic provinces for some time, there are several problems with this.
USA, Spain and our other allies in Europe are under invasion and we are focusing on retaking three of our regions that will fall at leisure anyways? I know we have fighting spirit, and trust me, I love this nation as much as any other eCanadian, if not more, but there has to be some sensibility. Everything has time to run its course.
There is a reason that me and several others decided to take a different approach to handling the liberation of Canada. Its slower, we're a smaller group, but its more permanent than balls-out rushing to get land back.
I have seen a mass panic of "Canada is back!!!!!" comments throughout and this is almost as bad as "Canada is screwed, run!!!!. What are we coming back to? Yes, we have our country, but after issuing a mass exodus, you can't just scream here and there to move people back.
Logistically, we cannot support a population yet, any MPPs signed help slightly but in the end, our MPPs didn't help then and won't bring much effect now, even against a single aggressor like Hungary.
Hospitals and Defence systems are shaky investments that require stability to implement. Telling me three of our smallest Atlantic provinces are a stable foothold is like saying an MG emplacement will hold back a Tiger tank.
The most important thing that a Canadian can do is to either move to USA or move to Spain, where the Canadian Resistance Movement is located.
Our priority has to be to protect our allies in these temporary homelands. If we lose Spain and USA, what the hell are we going to do up North? Seriously.
Like I said, if you are in Canada, you shouldn't be. Unless you're doing something really, really effective. Which I doubt.
Once in New Jersey or Asturias, as an average Canadian, you need to check off three things.
1. Am I working for a friendly company, and if possible, can I work for a Canadian company?
In that case, the Canadian Resistance Movement is implementing its "work 4 weapons" policy in which soldiers work at our community weapons companies in Spain and receive 4 weapons for free that they produced, or helped to make. This allows us to be self-sufficient and less of a burden on our allies. Perhaps the Jacobi faction has been implementing this already, its a good idea nonetheless.
2. Am I organized in a forum and frequently checking orders and discussion?
It is important to stay informed, wherever you are. Many of the Canadian factions/communities that emerged after the fall of Canada have their own platform and policy. Everyone's view on how to help Canada the best differs from community to community. This is why the people who support Jacobi are with Jacobi and people who don't are in other forums or communities. It is important to check out your respective forums and learn what battles are happening, what kind of diplomatic negotiations are going on (in the case of CRM at least) , and such. Being informed helps you from making bad judgments too early.
3. Am I saving up GOLD, learning game mechanics and being a loyal Canadian citizen whomever I support and wherever I am situated.?
We need community...and there's UNITY in that. Don't give away your Canadian citizenship, stay active, recruit members. You will be the generation that takes back Canada after a long fought war against imperialism. It is also recommended to stay mature in these times and resist the temptation to cuss out PEACE for taking our land. This sort of violence does not take us anywhere, because we are not in a military position to take anything back soon. Yes, I know, we are pissed off, but the way to solve this is through cooperation and diplomacy.
Thank you for reading and vote this up if you may.

Yes why not empty them. Just makes it easier for Peace to take them back.

Canada's economy will never recover if people don't move to those provinces. That being said, with no hospital, it really sucks, but I doubt anyone is going to build one if no one is there
Cheap q1 weapons, only 0.15 g. PM please.
I agree with your article. Voted

Exactly what I am thinking. Great Article, Voted!
I would hope we learned a lesson last month. It is important to keep population in the hinterlands with full support and then fall back to the centre. We made the mistake of having a strong centre and letting PEACE get a foothold with weak defenses. Let's start rebuilding Canada with the provinces we have. Calling a province 'small' in a virtual world is a nonsensical. We have high wood, grain and oil...sounds like enough to start building to me.
Many should stay and fight for the allies but we should start an orderly rebuilding of the economy as well.
I'm currently working and fighting in the US. I haven't come back to Canada yet because I know that the likelihood is that I will not be able to get a job in Canada, or at least one that pays as well. I figure if I work in the US, and put the money I make to food and such which I give to Canadians in Canada, I am effectively syphoning off money to invest into Canada. On that note, any Canadians that are in need of some food, or a couple gifts, message me. I can probably support 4 or 5 Canadians with Q2 food a day.
Tyler has gone to Spain.
Tyler has bought a Grain company in Madrid and is in the process of recruiting land skilled eCanadians to work there.
Tyler agrees that there are too many factions vying for the same goal. We need to organize them together - even if loosely.
It is good that we are spread out - it is our strength to not be concentrated in one area.
We should build up a world wide network of companies which will aid us in recovering our homeland. Once that is accomplished, that network will serve us very well in ensuring that eCanadians can travel the world, and find work and bretheren.
Tyler out.
Above all, and I echo Banach here - patience is the key.
We will work, work, work. We will store our wares.
Withour fanfare, bugles or bagpipes will shall operate.
The opportune time will present itself - and at that time - we will strike.
They took our land and with eCanada's last breath we vowed we would keep fighting it wasnt to soon to retake eCanada since the war didnt end at the battle of Ontario resitances where poping up everywhere some more sucsesful then others
amen
My allegience is to this land of Prince Edward Island. I support the faction that retook it for Canada; not the ones who would turn their backs on it saying it is not worth it.
That said, I feel it is strategically important that the US and Spain be strongly supported by us as well. Yet, that does not mean that we should turn our backs on our own soil which we are still fighting for. We are not done here on our own soil.
