[BSP] Shake, baby, Shake [BSP]



Greetings all of you beautiful people in the eWorld.

I greet you today with a potential platform were I to be elected as PP of The Black Sheep Party. I would focus on this as my only goal during my reign as PP. Any work we do in congress will be focused around this as well. I actually threw this idea out in my old party, the Federalists. They did not like it or support it or think it had a chance to fly. Perhaps, the time is right now?

I do not follow the meta game congress bulls***, so don't even ask what I think about any of that crap. This game is a shell of what it used to be, and I treat it as such. I propose in the most simple terms an alternative way of donating the US treasury funds. I would prefer to the see the 5 or 10 top party presidents to receive the daily donation for the purposes of using it as they see fit. If they see the value in using the money to fund programs and generate a hefty reserve in the CBO, then so be it. If they think they should use the funds to help the people in their party, then good. There is $38M sitting in the CBO right now. I think we put a cap on that for a couple of months, and start the direct donations to the PP's.

I think it would be fun to see what a broader stroke of people in the game would do with the money we accumulate. SCI would still exist to appropriate funds from the CBO. IES would be a thing. Perhaps the PP's would continue to contribute to the CBO or other funds, but it would be at their discretion. I've heard some rumblings about other things in Congress. I have absolutely no opinion on all of the other crap that goes on. I'll participate if I have to but I'll leave the actual thinking to those that are smarter than me.

This game can be fun and exciting, but it has not been that for me since my last month as CP. It was a trainwreck from start to finish. I know it amused many of you. I was amused as well. Before that, I was dormant for many months or even years, hanging out during the great wipe. I've been here since '09, and for me this is my attempt to have fun again. You might hate this idea, think it's laughable, whatever the f*** you want to think. However, I do think it would be fun if we were able to implement some version of this. I'm sure many people will say that in order for government programs to continue, the money has to go to the CBO. That may be true, but let's see if PP's continue to have respect for the country as a whole, while helping out their members directly with the funds. This game is a slog. It takes a long time to do anything, so this might take several months to even sway people's opinions even a tiny bit. Or nothing may happen at all. What-the-f***-ever. Have fun in your way.

Think of the spike in activity on the micro and macro level, though. Anyways, there is a lot to think about and consider in order to finish fleshing out any sort of plan here. If people respond positively, then we'll have to think about the details. If the response is negative, then I guess that's that. I will have said my peace and attempted to do something I think would be fun.

Play the game how you want, I've always kept in mind this is a game. If you are still here, there's a reason you are still playing. Would it interest you to shake things up a bit with me?
