As you all can see, back there, Romania was the country with the biggest number of brazilian citizenships. Just for a comparison, they had more citizenships then all the other EDEN members combined.



The Brazilian Rules for Foreign People

We are not a xenofobic country in RL or ingame. In fact, our history proves it, since we mixed together the roots of Europe, Africa and indians.




However, ingame we like to make a society where EVERYONE can be part of, but only brazilians make the decisions to keep safe from PTO and any other kind of diplomatic warfare.

If you are not brazilian, but you have the brazilian citizenship and you want to live peacefuly here, just follow this rules:

1. Enjoy or bonuses.
2. Enjoy or society.
3. Do not candidate for anything.

THREE SIMPLE RULES. JUST FOLLOW IT AND YOU’LL BE TREATED EXTREMELY WELL.



The Brazilian Situation

As you all know, Brazil is a founder and a member of the TERRA alliance, which is allied with the EDEN alliance (forming what we like to call TEDEN). In our history, we were members of the PEACE alliance and of the PHOENIX alliance.

However, the main core of the eRepublik war is based in the Europe, which puts us in a interesting position: we have few corners to protect (usually only Spain), which makes us a important country to produce and we have a specific military role, since we fight more when Europe sleeps.

Yes, we might get erased eventually, this is something we can’t avoid sometimes, but we can recover faster then any other country in the world. This is a particularity of a few in this game (Brazil, China, Indonesia and USA). That’s the reason why our allies rely on us to offer spots for then to produce.



The Romanian History in Brazil

Well, this is interesting. Romania are a very respected country for us, as entity, but the current problems we are having with romanians with brazilian citizenship for almost a year is a pain in the S.

It all started when a brazilian player tried to win the elections in a party we hated and got the approval of many other people who also disliked the party. To avoid him to win, Gulitiwi, the brazilian duck, gave a few citizenships for romanians indicated by the romanian government as trustful people:




Well, from that long list, the only one who caused us trouble was liviu2001. He created a party and a MU named Extravaganzza and tried to reach the TOP 5, to candidate for congresso and give more and more citizenships for his friends. This was not acceptable and never will be.

Nemesis

The leader of Nemesis, Uxini, received his CS in 7th june, 2011, aware of his responsabilities. They knew about not geting involved in our politics EVER.

In february they got in touch with our congresso, requesting more CS to Nemesis members. We refused, coz Nemesis is not a brazilian MU, its a Romanian MU, should be based in Romania, not here and it’s members should be here only to productive reasons.

There was more then 80 romanians in Brazil, there was and there is NO ROOM for more.

Still, they ignored that. Despite of what they were told, EmperorMarcus tried to be candidate in a party and the whole Nemesis (and probably other romanians) voted for him. He achieved 54 votes and got elected.


Yes, Nemesis succeed to become oficially a enemy of Brazil. Allies don’t make TO against other ally.

The romanian government came with a bullshit talk "what if he resign?". Well, now it's useless. The problem is on.



The Public decision, The reason, The Fact

Well, the first move of many brazilians was to blame the whole Romania for that act, which I believed was completely wrong. The public decision transformed Nemesis into a HUNGARIAN MU for Brazil, but a lot of people were using their heads and waiting for what Romania had to say about it.

GeluRomanu acted like a very honorable man and showed his disapproval to what Nemesis did and we thank him for that. But words, unfortunately, wont change what Nemesis did. 😕

Brazilians were using their REASON and were almost convinced that all the problem was only Nemesis fault, not Romania’s fault. However, we had a turn of events in 5th April.


If Romania don’t think Nemesis is part of Romania, why did 1333 romanians elected tudor soim, a NEMESIS MEMBER, to be their Country President right after a huge problem with Brazil?

This is the fact, ladies and gentlemen. Romanians (at least 49,46% of them) don’t give a damn about other countries problems.

Yes, you can’t force Nemesis members to leave Brazil, but you can avoid endorse their members.

NEMESIS BECAME ROMANIA’S RESPONSABILITY IN THE MOMENT YOU ELECTED A NEMESIS PRESIDENT.

FRESH NEWS:

Nemesis and other romanians in Brazil who think they can decide anything in our politics protesting in our job market. Useless.





The Brazil-Romania relation

This situation do no spoil our relations. Brazil it's on Romania's side, since we are TEDEN together. However, this act is to show Romania our disapproval about what Nemesis did.

If romanians don't know what is going on, they probably should start to know now. We need romanians (those who care for their allies) to be part of this and start to show their opinions.



The Future

We can’t do much. Admins don’t allow diplomatic control against the people inside your country. This being said, Brazil has only the right to show his disapproval with the romanian community, with the hope that romanians will understand it and ask Nemesis to leave.

This is not a government statement, but I can assure that Brazil wants this:

1. We wont renew the MPP with Romania until Nemesis is out.
2. We wont accept any citizenship request from romanians until Nemesis is out.
