[BREAKING NEWS] eCroatia-eSerbia Ceasefire Agreement!

After several attempts to establish peace between these two countries, it seems that finally agreement has been reached. According to eSerb MoFA article(which was afterwards supported by eCroatian CP’s announcement), eSerbia and eCroatia have reached an agreement of ceasefire which will last for 3 months.

These are the conditions:

-eCroatia abandons its pretensions on eMontenegro
-eSerbia gets all of eBosnia&Hercegovina’s regions apart from Brcko
-eCroatia gets the eSlovenian metal-rich region of Prekmurje
-eSerbia pays 50 gold as a guarantee of not starting any RWs on the territory of eBiH
-eCroatia pays 50 gold as a guarantee of not starting a RW in Prekmurje
-Peace will last 3 months with a possibility of prolonging.

THE REPERCUSSIONS

These are numerous. eSerbia gets a chance of easier resource hunting, without eCroatia hindering its progress. Same goes for eCroatia which gets a border with CzechoSlovakia by gaining Prekmurje. This means eCroatia will have an open path for pursuing its MidEuropean goals.

Although both CPs announced that eBiH representative supported this notion, it is clear that this did not happen. There is a possibility that eBiH will cease it cooperation with eCroatia and maybe even leave EDEN. I repeat, this is merely a possibility.

There were rumors that the same thing happened with eSlovenian representative, but these were discarded apparently, even though eSlovenia seems to be preparing for full-scale war with eCroatia, even though this agreement has a clause in which it is said that eCroatia will take just one eSlovenian region-Prekmurje.

eFYRM citizens did not react well to this declaration. Some of them think that this will open a new set of problems on their end, where eCroatia will be able to tackle their colonies in eItaly. However, they don’t represent the opinion of the entire eMacedonian nation.

THE REACTION

As can be imagined, reactions in both countries are mixed. Some people are against this agreement. Their main concern seems to be the lack of motivation in populations this agreement will create. Everyone knows that eSr-eCro rivalry can only be matched by maybe eRom-eHun one, as these countries have led the fiercest, most damage-inflicting battles this game has ever seen.

However, it is quite obvious that months after the last time such an action was planned(peace) both nations seem to have more understanding for this agreement. As a reminder, last time eCroatia and eSerbia attempted ceasefire, the no-NE law was voted down in eCroatia Congress.

THE FUTURE

Near future will be interesting. eSerbia has already set new NE law for voting(eBiH).
After eBiH’s regions are taken, and after eCroatia takes Prekmurje, maybe a worldwide-peace agreement will be reached, or maybe these two countries will just find some new opponents for their endless gold-guzzling wars.
