The Military Manifesto of a Madman
This article is quite long tl;dr version at bottom.
Hello all,
I consider myself a true Country President for War times and oh boy are we set for some war in the coming months. My aim was to kick start the TWO vs CoT war (Talon knows this) but USA and Serbia beat me to it, sad times. Now the UK is positioned perfectly to be a real nuisance and get plenty of this action whilst supporting our allies in the major battles, good times.
This article will outlay my vision for the coming month, how we can increase activity, organisation and most importantly have some fun. Also take a look at my announcement and home affairs articles. So first of all..
Our Domestic Military
Before we go marching into war with nation after nation like headless chickens we must get our house in order. This will allow us to deal maximum damage at a reasonable cost. Having had 3 CP terms before and having been and got the t-shirt when spending money, I understand the importance of getting value for your punch so I propose the following:
1) My ‘Rival’ wants to rent out our spare orgs for a ‘fixed’ fee. I disagree with that in these hard times, I want to support our MU’s who are currently struggling to supply their fighters. One good way of raising money at the moment is by using the Monetary Markets (MM) and investing and with our spare orgs I suggest.
I will give each active UK MU with:
10+ fighters and 20 million daily damage - 1 free org
25+ fighters and 50 Million daily damage - 2 free org’s
50+ fighters and 100 million daily damage - 3 free org’s
(Note: The figures above are guidelines, your MU may lack fighters etc I will still help any MU don't worry + If your MU already has Org's don't worry I wont be taking any away.)
You then have two further options:
Option A ) You receive the Org free of charge for the month and do as you like regarding investment. The Org is free of Charge.
Option B ) You allow the government (MoF) to control your Org/Invest for you. I will match your investment of upto £25,000 per org. Every time the Org cashes out you will receive the FULL rewards and at the end of my term you original investment will be returned.
For Example: Choose Option B, Your MU gets say 2 Free Orgs, you rally around your fighters and raise 50k. I will match your £50,000, meaning you have £100,000 total to make more money.
Note: if you have been struggling to raise cash, then this will be a massive help to you boosting your MU's income.
I will create a live doc showing all results for all MU’s that take part within the programme. Use the rewards to fund your fighters with more supplies. The money/org’s are only a loan for the duration of my term. All Investments will be returned upon the request of the MU. Why waste empty Orgs, when we can promote healthy investment with the advice and guidance of the MoF. My government will help fund this scheme, yes it will mean a little less for the Gov to invest but I would rather support our army at them moment.

“The UK Strength Improvement Scheme”
A lot of recent discussions have taken place outlining a way to support such a scheme from myself, appleby and I think Keers in the past. I want make it a reality during my term. So what does it involve? Basically lending gold to active fighters who will benefit from improved training grounds.
With the economy being such a mess, many fighters cannot afford the cost of improving their training grounds or it will take them months. I want to give you the fighter! a helping hand and speed up that process of being able to deal more damage individually and as a army. Not only can you do more damage but you will in the long run earn more money!
How will it work:
1) I will contact MU commanders, asking for a list of potential names.
2) These fighters must be active daily. My MOD team will assess these potential candidates on a player-to-player basis.
3) Those chosen will receive a Gold Loan from the Government.
4) The Gold loan is to improve your Training grounds
5) You must repay the loan amount. (if you pay on time, you will receive a slight reduce in repayment costs courtesy of my government & you will be eligible for a another loan)
If this programmes proves successful and people repay the gold, then we can help more fighters and potentially help those who have already received an upgrade to improve another level.
* Improve many fighters strength
* Those who repay the gold will be given a new loan for the next upgrade.
This has the potential to be one of the biggest projects ever undertaken by the eUK. If players respect the rules we can all collectively become a stronger fighter force.

Concentrated IRC activity
The IRC (internet relay chat) has become our main source of live communication, its a bit like msn for those who have not yet ventured on. We have war rooms and public, party rooms full with hundreds of active players and fighters.
Now to have a really strong fighting force, the key to winning any battle or war is being able to hit at the right time, in the right place. The IRC gives us this great advantage of hitting hard and fast!
I will propose a month of heavy promoting and supplies to match. MU commanders will be encouraged to promote and get more fighters onto #MOD. 5 months ago we used to get 120/30 people in #MOD during the Azores campaigns that has almost halved.
* Many fighters in the UK are struggling for supplies. But you can actually use the IRC to receive supplies at any at time during the day and fight for any of our allies if not the UK itself.
* UK Fighters will be rewarded for showing IRC activity in a reward system.
National Army?
Well I’m not going to create a national army because we simply can’t afford it without major support. The guys who would potentially fund a national army currently supply their own respected MU’s so that’s just unrealistic. No CP can decide to have a national army alone without the majority of public support first and we simply cannot afford the massive WRM costs.
Now the two major proposals at the top shouldn't cost the government a penny if run correctly and if respected. So What to do with the cash we do have...
What I can promise is..
1) More strikes with supplies for fighting in the important battles at the crucial times.
2) Signing MPP’s that count. Lets not waste money on MPP’s that offer us no real return and let’s sign the MPP’s that really do matter.
3) Funds to support our hard hitters who may possibly join the New $TWO Mobile Corp Army$ (Supplies, Moving Costs). It’s important that the UK maintains a strong presence on the battlefield for our allies.
Call to Arms
A very popular supply of Q7 weapons which used to be given out via the MoD battle articles for anyone. I would like to bring this back again, but cost would be my main concern. I'm not going to make an unrealistic manifesto like my ‘rival’ so I won’t promise this. But with the slight tax increases and potential earnings from the MM we might be able to afford this and if that's the case I will be activating it.
Military Honours
We DO NOT praise people for hard work when they deserve it!
We are famous for smashing people for any little mistake, but when do we give people the praise they deserved when earned? Never, in fact was I the last CP to give a medal? I will be supporting the launch of a new scheme, AFG Honours System.

I want to shake up the MoFA department this month, the reason being several;
1) New Faces
The UK only has a few faces who are known in TWO HQ.
- They use the excuse of being “known”.. and this makes them the best for the job. Kravenn acting the way he did to an old ally of ours proves that’s utter rubbish. I want to see new players getting a chance to be seen.
* Now not everyone can attend TWO meetings all at once, But I will rotate and give new players the experience of seeing a real TWO meeting. I think this will give them invaluable experience and be seen.
2) More articles
Yes this month has been fun as we have seen plenty of war (thumbs up). But a quick look around the news-feed and you will see a pattern appear. Fighters are not sure which battles to fight in and why.
- We need more informative article from MoFA this month.
3) Slim down MoFA
- We don’t need 20 under ministers who only produce 1 article a month and contribute.. Lets be honest very little and learn nothing.
- I want to pick a small team of 5-6 people, them them all see TWO meetings and witness real negotiations as they happen. That’s where our guys will learn and see how the country is really run.
Our Alliance - TWO
Its goes without a doubt, I will continue to support TWO and make sure the UK is the first getting stuck in on the battlefield with our allies. The fact is some people tried to create a false shadow of lies about me helping TWO last time. Those ‘Liar’s’ have been exposed and removed (hi mininuns) so if we receive official orders from TWO that backfire, we will receive the help we deserve. I have total faith in our current HQ and I will continue to encourage UK citizens to step up and take part within HQ.
Ireland
Trust me when I say this, I’m a true believer in PAYBACK! and after Ireland stabbed us in the back (Argentina). They deserved this wipe, but we should not target the entire of Ireland for the mistakes of the ‘few’. $I would offer the UK a referendum to end the war with Ireland$. However this would only be possible depending on the next Irish CP. The Worry I have is my ‘Rival’ is looking forward to a month of sparring with them... The UK should really be helping our allies in TWO with the BIG war that is kicking off around us. Our Current CP Acroc is doing that and I would definitely be supporting this continued approach. If Ireland want to continue to play silly bugger, then the only option I will place on the table for them is a potential rent.
Now I called this the "Military Manifesto of a Madman" but after reading I hope you agree with me. That these ideas are simple, but will require alot of hard work and I hope to get the UK on the road to becoming a stronger and more active nation again.

Perhaps I should have made it clearer, but my fixed rates for orgs are only for private citizens aiming to make profit - MU's obviously won't be charged because they aren't money spinning xD

I know some MU's already have Orgs, I not going to be taking Orgs away from anyone, My aim is to help our fighters this month.

FYI, the people responsible for the breach of the NAP are gone and discredited.
I hope Ireland have passed the PTO era, its never good to see any Nation crumble or succumb to any sort of the attack.
But Still it would very naive of me to instantly start trusting you again. Still I think there is hope. for peace and one day to be fighting together.
Aye MUFC and his goons are buried deeply so they cannot crawl back to life.
Just FYI TWO have strict rules on who can attend meetings to prevent leaks, and try to have as few as possible for the same reason. Take Newbies to private meetings though if you want them to get experience.
