Now that the Presidential elections are over and once again the USWP has purchased the White House for its candidate, the thing I take away from this election is that America wants change. Sadly GloveisLove and Cromstar split the vote; their combined totals would have had one them the winner. Coming up on June 15th is the Party President races and as I watched the NBA Western Conference finals I thought about the PTo threat which was announced. Early in Game 5 of the NBA playoffs the Spurs got Serge Ibaka into foul trouble, in the first 0:50 of the game two fouls were called; one given to Manu Ginobili -Mister Grease Ball himself. The Spurs got a rebound and passed it out to Ginobili, who turned to go down court with Ibaka in hot pursuit; he dribbled once and suddenly he stops dead and Ibaka runs over his ass -second foul and Ibaka is sitting out the 1st quarter and most of the 2nd. Now what Ginobili did was within the rules and it put one of the best Thunder players on the bench; however it was a cheap underhanded way to get the guy who will be guarding you all night into foul trouble early. Up front I will admit to being a huge Thunder fan; plus I have hated the Spurs ever since to they got Ginobili; IMO Ginobili is the dirtiest player in the NBA. What he did was completely legal and within the ‘game mechanics’ of basketball, but it made him look like a p***y; and proved once again that the Spurs will do anything to win.



You are probably are asking, ‘Dru, what the hell does that have to do with eRepublik?’ IMO, Ginobili’s dirty play is akin to citizens who use the Political Takeover rule, it is there and it is perfectly legal; but like Ginobili’s move it makes the perpetrator look like a p***y. Recently Addy Lawrence announced his intentions to PTo one of America's oldest parties, the Socialist Freedom Party. Now I supported the Exiled Patriots of Canada when they left Canada because they believed in ‘upfront’ game play, however using the PTo rule to get a ‘fast start’ in American politics is not ‘upfront’ game play. The members of EPC left in part because Rolo Tahmasee used the PTo to control small weak parties, now Addy and the EPC have made the decision to take over an American party they consider weak and ripe for takeover; suddenly Rolo Tahmasee’s tactic is acceptable. IMO using the PTo rule to gain a foothold in the top 10 parties is a chickens*** way to get there, it shows that the citizens using the PTo rule are lazy and unwilling to work their way up to being a top 10 party; with that in mind why the hell would America want lazy citizens gaining Congressional seats? Why would America want more underhanded players like Pfeiffer in politics, why would we want more ‘do anything’ to win politicians? makes me wonder if the EPC has not made a deal with the USWP. On June 15th America needs to support the SFP, on the 15th move to the SFP and support Samuel Seabury for Party President.

Although I find the PTo rule distasteful, it would not bother me to see the EPC purchase a party; so to aid that here is a list of parties with less than 10 members that in all likelihood could be purchased for less than the 40 gold they are too cheap to spend.

Progressive Party
Pi Party
Florcism Party

However, if the EPC simply must execute a PTo let me suggest the following parties.

Southern Pride
Political Advancement Party
Blackrose Party

All three of the above parties belong to America’s #1 enemy and IMO are fair game and HIGHLY acceptable candidates for PTo. If the EPC wishes to join American politics on a high note, control a public enemy’s ‘multi’ party; join the crusade to keep this sociopath in check. If the EPC were to attempt a PTo of one of those three parties I would actively support such a PTo, if they join in on the effort to keep this stalker out of power I am pretty sure every American would also support such a move. So on June 15th prove to America that you wish only to aid America, takeover one of those three parties and America will stand with you, PTo the SFP and America will become a hostile environment for the EPC.
