Let's cut to the chase -


Cabinet

Keeping in mind the tl;dr lot, I have put this section at the top. If you are interested in being part of the government team, please send me a PM indicating your preferred area (Defence, Foreign Affairs, Media & Education) of service and the amount of time which you will be able to expend daily.

If you don't have any experience whatsoever in any of the above areas - it simply does not matter. What we are looking for here is someone with the drive to do awesome stuff and having a lot of free time at his disposal. So don't be shy in getting involved in the government even if you are new - Just do it.

If elected, I'll ensure that there are regular updates and reasonable transparency from the side of the Government. This may seem quite obvious for a government to do but nevertheless, given the track record of previous governments, this point needs be highlighted.


Society

I have iterated many a times that if we hope to rejuvenate our country, we need to strengthen the soul of this game which is the community. There's a slump in the community activity in our country because too many people are not in the loop due to their low level of activity. They don't know what's happening and why is it happening as there's no repository of archives to get a holistic view of the current affairs and a place to get help. Not making things better is the game getting more boring with only small bursts of thrill during the tournaments.

There's an urgent need of revival of a public forum and a public chat room - too many important discussions are taking place without the participation of everyone. Newbies don't have a place to get acquainted with their fellow players; we don't have a place to troll, to make new friends and to burn our enemies, to share a good laugh and to make good memories - in-game chat is not good enough and most new players are too apprehensive of Skype.

A major part of reviving the community efforts will also go to getting people to write more, read more and participate more. All this will be funded mostly by the one who brings us Pizzas but nevertheless, if you have some resources to spare, do contribute to intensify the efforts.


Military & Economy

The root cause of our worries on both these fronts is low population. Notwithstanding the BB efforts, we will have to work with whatever we have. I'll try to push on with the import tax reduction reform, if experienced economists, businessmen and others agree with me on this. BrknSword also suggested the other day that if we could get raw to the Indian weapon companies that perhaps they may be able to break-even. We need more ideas on this front!

Focus will also be on getting a few MPPs signed to get us regular wars and on building exigency reserves. We will also work on our co-ordination and on getting people educated and up-to-date on the military module. This will also help our soldiers to milk the most out of the admin-organized competitions.

Defence ministry shall be handled by one of our best fighters lHonouR (LHonouR - it's an 'L' not an 'I') who has a vast experience in this area.

Fresh blood BrknSword (rea😛 Broken Sword) will be serving as the Governor. He has a firm grasp over the economic module and we need someone with new ideas and out-of-the-box thinking to grapple with our economic woes.


Foreign Affairs

This is not a subject on which I have much experience but I can tell we will continue with the current policies which has remained more or less the same over the years - we don't bother others if they don't bother us but if they do bother us then we have got some big bros to bother them. Bulgaria and Macedonia have been the kindest of friends and I hope that our relationship touches new heights and consolidates further to become as constant as the Northern Star.

Foreign Ministry will be handled by the best-man-for-the-job Pizzarayne. I myself am willing to have an open mind - explore new avenues, forge new relationships and perhaps forget the bitterness of past in some cases. Even so, I'm not for aligning ourselves with any major alliance.

Magnificent monkey SpaceMonkey shall be supporting Rayne as his deputy and I have no doubt that their FA team will be just sublime.


BB Efforts

We already have upped our efforts in the last few weeks and I will be personally involved heavily on this front - but I need help from everyone of you. We need guides, mentors, supplies, ideas, advertisements and whatnot - there's lot to be done. Our efforts yet have yielded feeble results with a few new guys joining us and we have also been getting some external help.

Kunal Grover has been doing some awesome work as the Education Minister and will continue to handle this portfolio.

Also, please give a warm welcome to Ruler of The New World to our team who will be supporting Kunal as his deputy and will be overseeing the Media department - he's the guy who will be majorly responsible for generating in-game community activity and community participation.
