[BG]Win some, lose some

Three days ago I was writing about how EDEN and Terra managed to outsmart NWO/ONE and win several key battles.

In the same article I was pointing out that is the exception. The reason is simple ("Elementary, my dear Watson!"): EDEN and Terra are numerically inferior and while the same trick can indeed be played twice, it should be played only after the enemy forgets it.

There is absolutely zero shame in being defeated due to the overwhelming superiority of the enemy. Being upset because of that is like being upset because the water is wet.

This is why I think the doom-and-gloom articles published in several countries are both useless and worthless. Add to that the following:

1. Under the current circumstances what really matters is to keep the players' community alive and united. If the strategic situation changes, we need active players to take advantage of it. Finger-pointing and throwing the blame around should therefore happen only in our enemies' camp (and the funny thing is they keep doing it even when they are victorious);

2. What did really happened when we lost a battle? Today the weather is great in Bucharest, so we went out for a walk in the nearby park. Guess what? We haven't seen any Serbian soldiers patrolling on the streets of the city!

I'm willing to bet no Turks are setting checkpoints on the boulevards of Sofia and no Turkish tanks are parked in Rousse's central square either. So what's the problem, really?

Let's always remember this is a game of strategy.

- It is a game, therefore it has little to do with the Real World.

- It is a game of strategy therefore the numbers are important. If the numbers are against us we will for sure win some and lose some. Three days ago we've won, now we're losing. In a few days we'll win again and so on.

- Since it has little to do with the Real World it has little to do with Real World things like "courage", "bravery" or "heroism". Who has ever died for his country with a mouse in hand? Who has ever got into the history books for bravery on the battlefield by clicking repeatedly a red "Fight" button?!

Games are supposed to be entertaining. So let's prepare for having fun a few days from now on!
