Yesterday I was writing that even though ONE is much stronger than EDEN and Terra, it is not strong enough to win all the battles.

EDEN and Terra worked very well together yesterday, forcing the enemy to spread its resources too thin.

The key strategic idea was to force the main countries of ONE to focus each on her own interests, abandoning their allies.

The Americans land in Europe

The Americans have hit Spain in Europe, even before completely evicting them from North America. That surprise attack in Aquitaine ensured the Spaniards would not help any of their allies for the next 24 hours.

The Hungarian Headless Chicken

While that was happening in Western Europe, Hungary had stupidly decided to invade Croatia. The move was truly senseless because at the moment of the attack most of Hungary's allies were too busy protecting their own interests elsewhere.

The result was a spectacular failure: not only Hungary lost against Croatia, but in the same day she also lost several colonies to the French and Romanian Resistance Wars.

Turkish Delight

The Turks were as stupid as the Hungarians, if not worse:

1.They knew they cannot count on the support of Spain, who is very pissed off with them;

2.They also knew they aren't anybody's priority in ONE. ONE remembers Turkey exists only when they badly need the Turkish damage. After the Turkish lackey does his job, he's forgotten by everybody (and he's not even allowed in ONE because hey, servants sleep in the barn, not in the castle of their master).

So the Turkish attack on Ruse was hopeless from the start if only the Turks were expected to actually fight there. The only way the Turks could have won was by burning lots of Real Life cash. Which they did. As a result they've managed to lead by 7-6 this morning.

However the Bulgarians showed superior organizing skills while EDEN and Terra sent a few strong tanks to assist. Therefore all the real money the Turks spent went down the drain and Bulgaria won by 8-7.

What's Next?

Right now almost everybody in ONE is pissed off with everybody else.

Poland and Serbia would do what they do best, that is they will try to protect their own colonies no matter what happens to their other allies.

Even if the two giants would cooperate closely (which they won't), they are too overstretched to be able to win all the Resistance Wars.

So in the end it all will be a huge match of finger-pointing and throwing the blame around, in the good old tradition.

ONE's satellites Turkey and Indonesia have even less reasons to be happy because they will have to fight pretty much alone every time.

EDEN and Terra on the other hand are quite likely to continue to have fun.

Because they have accepted they are overall weaker than NWO/ONE, they can plan their strategic moves the same way as they did yesterday.

They don't risk to start blaming each other because they are aware they will win some battles and lose some other battles. And every time they win they know they have beaten somebody twice as strong.
