What are the differences between Bosnia and Bulgaria?

Not too many, really:

- Both Bosnia and Bulgaria are small countries in Real Life and Minor Powers in eRepublik. So no big differences here;

- Both Bosnia and Bulgaria have a lot of smart and committed players which make their countries more powerful than the size of the population would suggest. Again both countries are similar, not different;

- Bosnia is a member of EDEN, Bulgaria is a member of Phoenix. That makes the whole difference in the world!

Let's take a closer look at what being in EDEN means, compared to being in Phoenix:

- When Bosnia was in trouble did EDEN tell the Bosnians "you are too small, you are too expensive to help?"

Nope, we organized first the political operations so they can recover their country. Then we organized the military operations so they got their high grain region back.

- When a small EDEN member needs to sign an MPP with a large EDEN country, does the small country have to pay also half of the costs of the big one?

Nope, we're not in the racketeering business. The habit of collecting protection money is Phoenix's specialty.

And, by the way, when Croatia was wiped out, were the Croats told "move to Poland to defend the Polish rented provinces in North America"? You know, like you were told to move to the Serbian colony of Liaoning?!

Right now you have the opportunity to be smart:

Let Romania cross into Asia and in exchange we'll give you a high region of your choice from those we capture in Turkey or Iran.

The open war between our countries is the cheapest way to land-swap you into those areas. Then when the Turks will want those regions back, you'll have the war with Turkey you need for your baby-boom.

"Oh, but if we do that Serbia will wipe us out!"

- First of all you know the Serbs are unable to launch any offensive against you until the MPP with you expire.

- Second you know Serbia cannot launch any major offensive because they are afraid of losing Liaoning;

- Third we always help our friends: look at Bosnia. It's in EDEN's best interest that Serbia can't return to Asia after we kick them out of Liaoning. We all know the Turks and the Iranians would love to help them return there. So EDEN's best option would be to stop Serbia in Bulgaria. And let's face it: because of Macedonia, Serbia is your second best source of baby-boom after Turkey.

"But how can we trust Romania? You are our enemies!"

Nope, we are not. We don't get any baby-booms from fighting with Bulgaria. You don't have any valuable high resources. We only fight with you because you are in the wrong alliance and because you block our path to Asia.

"OK, maybe Romania will not attack us, but Greece will"

Why? What do you have there which would be interesting for Greece?! You are not a source of baby-boom for Greece either. Turkey is. And you don't have any resources.

You are more interesting for Greece as allies against Turkey. Right now when they launch a campaign against Turkey it's just them and Israel. And Bulgaria is much more powerful than Israel.

Don't take my word for it. Contact the Greek government and see what they have to say about the issue.

"But we have honor and we'll never betray our allies"

Right! It's always better for the allies to betray you. Repeatedly.

This being said, it's time for you guys to make a choice.

Choose wisely!
