What is the Belgian Education Academy?

The Belgian Education Academy (BEA) is an independently run, apolitical and designed in the best interest of new players. It will be made up of four mentors; Ekfant, MaryamQ, Dan/naD Wilshire and McKitkat. Gyantse has devised an incredible training system whereby new players will be given challenges by their mentor. Once completed, they will receive a reward in the form of Q6 weapons and food. This is not only to incentivise players to sign up, but also to aid them in their early stages of development. The main goal will be to have more involved new players within the eBelgian community with the hope that more players will stay interested in the game than would otherwise do so.



Introducing the Mentors



All of the teachers are experienced in how eRepublik works. Between them they have near 2 years’ worth of Education ministry experience. We are always looking for mentors so if you are interested please send me a message. Here is an introduction to the four current mentors:



Ekfant: He started playing on Apr 20 2012 as Psycho Erim in Slovenia. He's mentor was Solinar (one of the most famous mentor in eSlovenia). At first he joined MU Black Panters, where he was supplier on evening MU strikes, there he met a lot of eFriends, best efriends from there is Hans.. and dr. Jovanotti. He was also mentor of Slovenian Universe. He was also one time in congress in eSlovenia. After time in eSlovenia he joined MU Angry Angels and left to eNew Zealand, where he organized food giveaways for younger citizens in Ranguini Party. After that he went back to Slovenia and, try with KrMa in his new Party, where he was also supplier for eFriends in Party. After that he move to Belgium. Here he was invited from Gyantse to become part of BEA. And now he is congress member and part of BEA.

In iRL he is 20 years old, coming from Slovenia, studying business management

dr. jovanotti : I met Ekfant a year ago. I soon realized that he has a lot qualities. At that time we were together at unit BP. We were always in touch and we talked quite often. He quickly became for me a citizen on erep that can be trusted. Even today we are in touch and I am really glad that I met such a person as he is. 🙂
In my opinion he is an excellent person to work with younger players because he is a very patient person. 🙂

Hans... : I met Ekfant when he joined our MU BP. Soon i realized that he is very nice guy, always willing to help no matter whether you need weapons, food, or any advice. He sometimes help me translate my words in English 😃 So I think that Belgium get an really good player  his only mistake is that he’s favourite team is Manchester United 😛



MaryamQ: 62-year-old American who was eBorn in Maine, her RL state, in October 2009 after being invited by her RL son. She came to eBe in April 2010 under orders from Strategic Air Command, fell in love with the eBe community, and stayed. She has been politically active, many times CM, many times member of government, twice CP. She also is a former supply officer for BNA, and is presently an active member and 2nd commander of Green Militia, where she fights alongside her eHusband, Cotarius, one of the most respected members of the eBe community. She has been described by RL friends as patient and adaptable, and tries to bring those qualities to the game.



Dan/naD Wilshire: Text to ba added later



McKitkat: a 17 year old player from Luxembourg and has been multiple times MoFA of Belgium. SInce his beginnings, 5th June 2012, he has worked himself to the Top which has brought him many jobs in the government and outside of it. He is usually on the #eBrussels channel. His main objective is to protect Belgium, his home, and improve it. He recently re-created the ULA in order to bring back the Fun and the unity back, and providing help to younger players.
