[BE] Government News - Day 1454

Day 1,454, 11:42 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

Dear citizens,

What have we done and what will we do?

[Defence] The training war was successfully concluded for now. The big reason for having moved to close it is that the supplies of the BAF soldiers are now paid out of the pocket of their MU commander Betafoxtrot. You'd say: nice, but also understand that this is not a long-term solution for our national security.

So the public debate on the supplies capacity of the BAF is in its fourth day now. Betafoxtrot, in a common statement with ThomasRed, promised solutions in two days now ("He is confident about keeping the same level of supplies after a week of work and negotiations with the Congress.").

Our international standing is intact and we kept the credibility to negotiate a future training war when our internal conditions are good.

[Immigration] Immigration is running smoothly, recommendations are accurate and fast. Every citizen wishing to become a Belgian is encouraged to apply in-game and send additional info to Olv007.

[Foreign Affairs] Talks are underway to prepare a well-founded proposal to Congress for the next mpp('s).

We found two new enthusiastic ambassadors: RamessesTheGreat will visit the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and Ahakas will put his fluent Lithuanian into practice. More ambassador candidates are always welcomed.

[Education] The update of the New Citizen Message (the current one is here) is up for debate in the Congress forum part. This debate is open to all Belgian citizens.

Preliminary talks are underway for structuring and publishing existing and new tutorials and reference articles. Nohjis (BE) and Dennis Baks (NL) already are included in the mass pm. Citizens who are also willing to work on this may contact Ward De Bever or Nohjis.

The flyer design contest is still open for submissions until Friday night Belgian time!

Regards,

Ward De Bever
