[BCH] What went on in yesterdays election
John O'Melveny
For those of you who weren't watching the election as intently as we were, here's what went down. Jacques was ahead all day, and sometimes by a pretty comfortable margin. However, suddenly something happened. Within the space of an hour, Marcus started catching up. Suddenly, he had pulled ahead. Bam. He was in the lead by 9 votes at one point (maybe more, I wasn't checking it all night). But in the end he won by the narrow margin of 3 votes.
The sudden comeback? All is explained in the screenshot below:
That's a (censored) image of just one of the many PM's I sent to Bremen Clubhouse members yesterday, when it became apparent that the election was going to be a close one.
We couldn't have a former Minister of Security at the helm, could we now? Even one that has failed to stop any of the 7 times a BCH member has been elected to the Dail in the last three months.
Mostly though, the unified voting was just for the lulz - we decided it would be hilarious to change the course of your election.
Jacques - the President elected by the Irish people.
Marcus - the President elected by the Bremen Clubhouse.
Enjoy your Bremen Clubhouse President, folks!
Comments
Flawless victory.
Glorious.
Are you retarded?
Who says the Irish have no intelligence or wit?
lol
>implying that you actually sent PM's to BCH yesterday.
You schmucks have known for a week who you would vote for. And by the bye, when am I going to be accepted into the BCH Lionz?
Interesting. Go deal with Belgium first. Not voted.
Marcus received 92 votes, much more than you could ever dream of having in your kindergarden. And that you'll support for Marcus too has been perfectly clear for days. Dream on.
And, for the record, I checked in at several points yesterday and yes, Jacques often was in the lead. But early in the day I saw Marcus ahead by one, he was ahead by a couple a bit later then Jacques took the lead again and held it for a fair while but around midnight GMT Marcus was pushing ahead again... Jacques certainly was ahead for a lot if it, but it wasn't the case he was ahead all the live long day.
People check in during elections, and unlike your good self we can retain information past 24 hours.
Nice try. Must try harder.
Also am I the only person it occurs to that if these guys really were the slick operators they thought they were (lol) they wouldn't admit their preferred candidate AT ALL?
Flaming heck, lads, we need a better class of troll.
I don't see your point einberliner. The BCH administered more than 3 votes. Therefore we swung the voting. We decided to elect Marcus.
@Tomazim - Pics or it didn't happen 😛
>implying we need pics to have chosen your president
I believe I called your endorsement of Jacques as...
"Obvious reverse psychology is obvious.
It looks like the BcH is supporting Marcus."
BcH retorted saying I was wrong.
It was obvious you wanted Marcus to win, the moment you supported Jacques with that "pro Brit", and now you have confirmed it.
One of your redeeming qualities used to be your honesty about your intentions to undermine eIreland. I am disappointed that you have taken to obvious lies, and then scoffed when that lie is called out.
Go back to your honest attempt at a PTO, Bremen. At least you had a modicum of honor, then.
I think that our ploy was os obvious that calling it a lie would be insulting to the Irish population.
"Flaming heck, lads, we need a better class of troll."
x2
Also am I the only one who finds it funny that Tomazim had to be told it was Ireland's CP election day when 1) It was every country's election day. 2) It's the fifth. It's always the fifth. It's been the fifth for years.
What did you expect of this Bremen Jokehouse?
These guys provide us with so many reasons to facepalm that my eyebrows began to wear off. Most probably the lamest PTO group of eRepublik history.
6 crying Irishmen in just a few hours says otherwise.
I hope your not counting me as one of those angry men.
You have not raised my ire. I am saddened and disappointed.
eIreland deserves a better class of criminal, and I thought you were gonna give it to us.
Why so serious?
If this is the case,
BCH you've done something useful for once. Have a cookie.
Marcus got my vote, you can't fool anybody with your propoganda
We are not angry at all, this is a mutually beneficial relationship, you got the attention you so desperately crave for and in turn we laugh at you. You are eIreland's clowns.
> Implying that it really matters if you picked Marcus.
Marcus is going to be a good CP. I don't care who picked him, I'm confident of that.
I feel pretty confident that our votes for Marcus were well spent.
The BCH is too predictable, they could have sent two messages yesterday, the other supporting Jacques, just to cause unrest towards however won.
"Flaming heck, lads, we need a better class of troll."
x3
Yes
What we did is send two messages to each member, to confuse ourselves. That's how we roll.
I thought our bluff at supporting jackes was obvious, but apparently nothing is too obvious for the Islish.
Your JC support was obvious trolling. Many people pointed that out.
The silly part was your weak denial of the obvious.
Go back to your plainspoken, honest attempt at a PTO. I may not agree with your goals, but at least I respected your integrity.
Your words carry weight when they are not speaking lies.
'Also am I the only one who finds it funny that Tomazim had to be told it was Ireland's CP election day'
On the contrary, I think he's doing really well for someone who was dropped on his head that many times as a child.

We're laughing at you, pet, not with you.
"I AM SO NOT TROLLED I AM JUST ANGRILY RESPONDING TO EVERY COMMENT BECAUSE ITS FUN"
poor attempt Lame-dog
Wow, you really can't tell the difference between anger and lulz? Because I mostly see lulz here.
Caps lock is the last refuge of the simple-minded.
I voted for the Union Party guy.
einberliner, I can see that you are trolled because you simply HAVE to reply to this, because you are trolled sir.
@Maddog - I'm a girl, nice try with the 'Sir'.
"You are trolled ma'am"
who were you quoting?
He is quoting a modified version of his own text
themoreyouknow
Bremer Stadtmusikanten, quite shallow imo.Not even good clowns.
*yawn*
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh my gosh, I just died laughing. It's hilarious you think we believe you.
Damn, I dropped my popcorn...
;_;
you put sup PTO'er in my pm, you double nigger.
I didn't know if you were a BCH member yet, so I put PTO'er
All bark and no bite once again. Does doggy want a scratch behind the ear for that lame article?
Marcus was behind by 1 vote with two hours left, 93 to 94. After the elections, and after the multis were removed, we now see the true totals, So actually , no, you didn't have any impact in the election, you kids were, as usual, useless and irrelevant to our election.
Stings a bit doesn't it when your grand scheme fell apart due to a few multi votes and as usual, you have to modify the truth to make your self feel important.
Sorry Lliam. I assumed that the Irish had a basic understanding of mathmatics - how silly of me. Let me spell it out plainly for you.
>10 votes from BCH members to Marcus.
>Marcus wins by 3 votes.
Now, as we've already established the extent of your ability with numbers, let me explain. If BCH had voted for Jacques, he would have won by 17 votes. If BCH had not voted at all, Jacques would have won by 7 votes.
As it stands, BCH chose something different. BCH chose (Rapture) Marcus.
And so, BCH had the power to choose the Irish election, and thus chose Marcus.
As I said in the article - enjoy your BCH-chosen President.
I've heard the Brits have an awful education system, but that's really pathetic. You had 10/92 of Marcus' votes. Nothing more, nothing less. You didn't even "change the course of the election", as you sent out your awesomely tricky message early afternoon, when nothing had yet been decided - apart from your support of Marcus that was crystal clear long before the elections.
Not that your "unified voting" had the slightest effect on your plans, as Cousteau remained the Minister of Immigration, and neither of the candidates support or even like you. And looking at the British forum, Ireland is not the only place you are despised.
We all see you're the lamest PTO group of all times, but you seem to misunderstand the point of trolling too. You are supposed to annoy us, not to be a laughing stock. However, keep up the good work, Ireland would indeed be less entertaining without the Lamer Clownhouse.
Okay SHM, please offer us advice on how we can improve. I assume you are the expert.
