[BC/UKPP] Time for a change

Evening all.
I am writing today to put forward my manifesto for this month's UKPP. As the longest serving member of the party running for election, I am running as your candidate to bring back the UKPP to glory. As a current member of congress and experience within government, I feel I have the experience and passion to lead this party.
The current situation
-A name deliberately changed to mock the party and its members.
-No consultation with members about elections or decisions.
-A number of members and congressman have left the party since the last PP election.
What I propose to do:
-Change the name back to the UKPP.
-A return to the polciies and beliefs that founded the party, as you can see here.
-A return of block voting and exerting our control in congress.
-Congress Candidate election will be done by party wide vote each month to ensure those running have the support of the party.
-Party Committee members will have actual roles for the betterment of the party with responsibilities.
-CP candidates will be selected by a party vote, making sure we pick the best possible candidate.
-The return of the party conference!
Although I've been a big critic of Wayne and his DC, I am not going to go into it here. Party members can look back at the posts in the party and make their own minds up. I certainly did.
To protect and support the UKPP and make sure it returns to the values it once stood by, vote BaronChris in this month's PP elections.

I was gonna change the name back for PP elections, but seeing you become party president of a W.A.N, K party is too good an opportunity to miss...
You are PP, you have surrounded yourself and made the congress list of all but one DC members. Ergo,"your DC."
I listed people I knew to be active and intelligent. Why would I give a seat of power to a guy that hasn't made any effort to be 'active and intelligent'?
You told BC before that you listet your friends and that it is not your fault that you have more friends than him (btw not saying your friends are not intelligent)
If i remember correctly, that statement was about me winning the PP race, not Congress listing.
I found it, "I see no Congress defections, you Chris are the only UKPP member to run under UKPP. The rest are either my friends are members of DC.", the having more friends is in another comment, that's maybe about the PP elections.

The principles the party was (re)founded on were activity and thinking for yourselves. I was instrumental in UKPP's first year in pushing this and creating the UKPP that we all know and love.
Unless you mean the first 4 months when all it was, was just a Anti-TUP movement, very much in the same vein as what New Era were and hated by everyone.
And somewhere along the road, you lost your way.
Somewhere along the road I noticed a side street that had flashy neon lit signs with titty bars and coffeeshops, so I took it.
It was only then that I found my way.

The reason 'DC' were able to take over was due to the lack of cohesion and activeness from the UKPP on the whole. This has been especially evident as soon as Alfagrem went MIA for no reason.
In the recent past we've had internal votes on policy, congress, CP races, etc despite having an inactive PP. People (usually Alfa) stood up to the plate to get it done.
Having a mischief maker as a PP shouldn't have stopped you guys, but rather spurred you into action.
What you need to do BC, if you get elected, is to form a solid, active, backbone of UKPP members to ensure stuff gets done. Otherwise it won't be the Saviours of the UK 'taking over,' but someone far far more malicious.
I do agree with you Crispy, and I am in the process of doing exactly as you say. It's not about one person, its about a party cohesion.
UKPP has always been about one person! First it was Alfagrem, then it was me, then it was in the wilderness for a year or so and then it was Alfagrem again. Now Alfa is gone, it will once again return to the wilderness.
The party hasn't had enough active people (a key component to UKPP's successes) for a very, very long time.
I'd argue that at the start it was about 4 people - Sir Nick, Alfagrem and their chums Mr Visa and young Master Card....
To a large extent, the primary principle was for people to vote in whatever way they felt best. Even after internal votes as to which CP candidate to support in the elections, people were free to vote whoever they wanted, with the offical support merely being a recommendation.
Sir Nick was just Alfagrems version of Rfeist. I wouldn't give him too much credit!

I see UKPP are in a similar situation to TUP - trying to ditch a useless DC PP and getting aggro from Wayne, Serf and iAdastros in the process.

Yes, it was founded in October 2011. It was a very isolated party, no friends and totally reliant on Alfagrems credit card and filling new players heads with lies in order to scrape around the 3rd-4th spots. It was only when me and my gang got our teeth into UKPP that it became a force, winning the most Congress votes and getting CP's elected. It was only until we started coming to the fore that UKPP gained any kind of respect in the eUK.

I never doubted you wrote them, but you didn't found the party. You've done good for this party, but recently, you've done nothing but bad for it.
I've never said I was an original founder of the UKPP movement. I was a founding member of UKPP the political entity, rather than just the 'We hate TUP' movement.
You can hardly blame me for UKPP being crap recently, I haven't been anywhere near em for months. Since I've been PP the feed has been ablaze with activity!
The original dozen or so DCers were all long term UKPP members with the vast majority such as myself being part of the UKPP from day one. Aside from the issues with Firefox30 etc having a falling out with the leadership of the RN, DC was in large part the half of the party (in thinking) that wasn't intimidated by the force of will that was Alfagrem.
The UKPP has always had its ups and downs like an alternating current, compared with the DC nature of TUP. But then again, other parties have also had their ups and downs. Look at the rest of the top 7 parties and all have been number one for half a year before the party runs out a little momentum, players move parties for new challenges and a new party challenges the top. The UKPP has rised and fallen numerous times as have other parties.

TBH Wayne has nothing to do with me going for PP, I know you wont belive me as I'm DC, but we'll see how it goes, I've not voted yet so don't know how it stands...
