[Baroness Margaret Thatcher for CP] An introduction Part 1 of 3

Day 1,473, 13:47 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Baroness Margaret Thatcher

I am Baroness Margaret Thatcher. A candidate for the December Country President (CP) elections who has been around the bend once or twice in the past. I am running under the United Kingdom Progression Party (UKPP) banner and with your support I believe I can secure a victory for me, my party and the entire eUK!

My party is the true and only (for now) alternative to the current government that has before anything failed its citizens. It has failed to be transparent, it has failed to boost activity, give equal opportunity for everyone and make our country proud and strong.

This is no easy job, of course. But people in high places (and the CP is a very high place) have to do their best because people have put so much trust in them. We need change and you can help. Join the party, become active and vote on the CP elections. Now, I am going to write more about this UKPP alternative.

The Ministries of State

I and my party are committed to the de-politicization of the state sevices that lead to accusation of cronyism & discrimination, whilst also keen to emphasis the value of the active, go-getting individual over their age, social status or network of friends.

I therefore pledge that should I be entrusted as the leader of our nation, I will be introducing a 'civil-service' to the eUK.

The existing heads of the Finance Office, Foreign affairs and Ministry of Defence will be retained in their current positions (or shall nominate a succesor if they feel they are no longer able or willing to serve) and together we shall define their roles, responsibilities and powers contigent upon establishing a long-lasting, free service where increased rank and responsibility comes from application and effort.

These separate ministries will be allocated a seperate budget and are wholly responsible for developing their staff, their own internal reform and for specific ownership of in-game proposals presented to the House of Commons.
