[AUS-CP] Finally!

Day 3,119, 09:10 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

G'day!

Well, our battle for resources is finally over! While we may not have gained as much as we aimed for, in a very competitive race, and being small in number, we did very well. A big thanks to our Generals Gueneo and Pat, our MU commanders and second commanders, all the soldiers who pitched in, and our allies eIreland and eJapan, all of whom put in literally days of effort to ensure we managed to punch well above our weight.

This is what we had going into the event:

60%20%

This is what we aimed for:

75%55%30%30%

And this is what we won:

35%75%50%

Competition for Weapons and Aviation (which we now know to be the new industry), was especially tough, and after all chances for those had been exhausted, we instead opted to get some extra bonuses in Food and Housing. Overall I think it's a good mix which should ensure a reasonable level of productivity, especially if we can pick up a little extra by teaming up with our neighbours.

Details of the aviation module, and the full economic changes, are yet to be released, but according to staff, the changes probably won't take effect until towards the end of next term, so hopefully we will have time to prepare.

It will likely be up to one of these capable hands to strengthen alliances, get a handle on the detail of the changes once they have all been announced, and help to educate the public on how they can make the best of things going forward.

Company placement especially will require some serious consideration, because once you place a company in a region, it may be difficult or expensive to relocate.

It's been an honour to serve as Prime Minister of eAustralia for this action packed term, and I wish the next two administrations luck in what should be equally challenging circumstances.

Lastly, thankyou to my talented and hardworking cabinet, MoFA Gueneo, MoD Pat McCrutch, MoF Nathan Hill, co-MoEE Harry Paget Flashman and Henry the 8th, Departmental Deputies and Advisors Callumh, Cody Caine and Taxsira, ASIO head An Australian Man, and all the Senators who participated in discussions and voted on policy. We truly have one of the most dynamic democracies in the eWorld.

Gudzwabofer
Outgoing eAustralian Prime Minister.
