What the OCPP is:
OCPP stands for the "Organization of Canadian Petrol Producers", and is based on many of the same principles as the real life "OPEC".
What is it made for:
OCPP was created to moderate oil prices on the eCanadian market, and to generate a mutual benefit for all members. Member's of the OCPP will discuses pricing strategies together, negotiate contracts and deals with the government and moving ticket companies, and generally make decisions that will financially benefit all members.

The OCPP forums are a restricted and private area for Canada's oil producers. Therefore many parts of this forum may be hidden from view unless you are "masked" as a member of the OCPP. If you wish to be masked, please check out the "New user sign in area" for more info.

Canadian Government officials, oil company employees, and moving ticket company GMs are also invited to join the OCPP forum. OCPP is ready to discuss with all parties involved in the Canadian oil market and that does not exclude the government, the workers, and our business partners. These "guest" members will only be able to see OCPP's announcements, however they may comment these decision and provide valuable suggestions, frustrations and other feedback.

My opinion:
i would strongly recommend all oil producers to join the OCPP.Then the monopoly over Canadian oil
will be established.It will profit all of those who join because prices will be set to a standard forcing all local companies that buy oil to buy at that specific price.OCPP members will be insured big bucks if joining.
Advantages: It may bring profits the Canadian government, Oil producers, and moving ticket companies.
Disadvantages:Moving tickets will be more expensive.Thus not beneficial to the CAF.

Another disadvantage: Other raw material producing companies won't be able to compete with wages. Since you make more money, you pay better wages, all land workers rush to oil companies, other resources suffer.
There is no way that every oil producer will join this.
And even if they di😛 foreign companys would fill the demand of cheap oil.
I have a counter idea, every one stop buying moving tickets till the price drops and the lack of need for oil causes a drop in oil prices. Neither idea is all that great and not likely to work in the long haul or achieve the desired results.
If Import Tax was 99% or higher - this could work. But sadly, you can't monopolize a business with foreign investors.
The OCPP has almost a FULL monopoly of the Oil market, as the founder and owner, I can assure you that we have a sound strategy and we are going to start talks with the government for 99% import tax. Either way, the import taxes atm are WAY too high for foreign investors anyway.
We are NOT however going to set super inflated prices as that would have a negative impact on the rest of the market. We simple want to return oil to profitability.

lol well you should have realized that this game is attempting to simulate real life business, politics, media and war.
