As Wschwabe did too,i will peopose my own project for the logo of the ASM.
I propose two logos with a Socialist or Socialdemocratic point of view.

The First one

This is a more sober version of the logo that I propose.

Meaning

The new logo means:

1 Community as the flower’s petals.

2 Socialism as its red color.

3 Taking care of those who are less able to compete as the fragility.

4 The struggle as the thorns

5 Growth as growing potential.

6 Plurality as the flower’s form.

7 Cultural life as the beauty of the flower.

This is the other version and is a more patriotic one.

The center shield means what I've already said and the flag adds an interesting patriotic value that shows the commitment of the ASM with the austrian community.

Both of the logos can be included in the profile of the user like the first version of the logo which can act as a symbol of belonging to the party.

I like the logo - it's stylish, easy to recognize, clean and simple.
It is the logo of the british labour party which isn't necesseraly a bad thing.

For me it's definitely an imporvement over the old one.
