[Ash] Brotherhood

Day 2,674, 00:25 Published in India India by Ashwamaedh

The wheel has come full circle (from ambassador to Dictator!). Right from back in the days when India and Bulgaria had absolutely no dialogue with each other (BG had been in Phoenix or Peace and India had always been pro EDEN) I remember windfall coming over to our irc and chatting away.. He had been the BG ambassador to India and his relaxed, friendly demeanor made him an instant hit on our channel 😃 ... so much of a hit that he is now our beloved Dictator! 😛

He was instrumental in bringing us together and then it was the grand old wise fox - Stoich, who actually brought us even closer and made us allies and then on brothers.

Yea, we are probably the weakling brother that BG has propped up on a number of occasions in the past, but we have stood by BG, whatever the circumstances. (Sometime back, things even got ugly between India, Croatia and BG but I'm glad to say that all worked itself out later. We have fortunately been regularly wiped, allowing us to focus our damage whenever required on BG battles pretty frequently. In fact a number of our tanks have close associations with Bulgarian players and Military Units that has helped us co ordinate our own divisions better.

is it any surprise that when the old duo gets together (Stoich and windfall) it can only mean great things for both our nations.

We have a pretty strong D1 and D2 to offer, and a respectable D4 now...with hopefully a few more players joining in, we shall be even stronger. Combine this with the depletion of players in other nations, and it means we do have something of a sting in the tail to offer when it comes to critical battles.

Its probably the only positive aspect I see in this game yet - the amazing brotherhood between our 2 nations that does not rely only on COs or Epic battles. Tzar Samuil MU has always been the one MU who never fails to help us and its truly fantastic to see! This reminds me of the brotherhood that used to exist between Indonesia and Serbia a long long time ago...and Im glad something of the good old game still lives.

OK , I didn't mean THAT old game! 😃

On the flip side, there will always be naysayers, who will end up clenching their teeth in frustration and dismay and talk crap (yep, brotherhood in this game is that INCREDULOUS!) ... but then that's what true friendship does!

To them, just sit back and... 😃
