[Asgard HQ] New Supreme Commander/Updates

Hello my fellow brothers and sisters of Asgard. It gives me great pleasure to speak to all of your directly for the first time as Supreme Commander. I would first off like to thank Asgard HQ for appointing me as Supreme Commander and giving me this opportunity to lead the most solid brotherhood in eRepublik.

Congress Elections
Asgard has once again secured a Congress for all members. HQ coordinated and acted quickly to ensure we would all see Congress and I want to thank everybody who helped whether you were organizing in HQ or your fought for us. Together we once again proved that we are capable of successfully completing our missions and goals as an alliance. Norway also faced a large PTO threat in the past 24 hours but it was noticed and acted upon immediately. For this we must thank MaartenW who assisted us in banning the 11 multi accounts who attempted the PTO. You have our most profound gratitude.

Collapse of TWO
It may have bin an uphill battle and taken us longer than expected but Asgard has finally defeated TWO! Well...we can pretend can't we? 🙂

In all seriousness the fall of TWO comes as a welcome surprise that was long over due. This will mean serious changes for not just us but the entire world. Already it looks as if Poland's alliance is becoming more and more stacked as time goes on (shocker) but we will not be deterred by this. We want to let it be known that Asgard, whether the collapse of TWO or not reaffirms itself as an alliance and any new alliances coming about will not shake us or lead us astray from ourselves and our oath as an alliance. We will continue to work together and with our allies for all of our best interests.

New Prospects Ahead
With the change in alliances this gives us a new opportunity to forge ahead by creating new allies who we may not have had a chance to work with previously. During my term I will be working with HQ to make decisions when it comes to our foreign policy and act as the bridge between Asgard and our new allies to be. During my term I hope to coordinate more "Joint Strikes" with and for our allies such as Canada, Ireland, Russia and for what will hopefully become our new allies.

As well I recently presented the idea in HQ about the possibility of creating an Asgard Army MU. It would be a quicker reaction to our allies and our own needs. We will be looking into more details into the creation of such an Army and all its needs and where they should come from such as cash and supplies.

I look forward to once again working with HQ but in a different role this time as well as continuing to serve the citizens of our alliance. These are new and exciting times for Asgard and together we will persevere, conquer and forge on ahead into new uncharted waters in this ever changing world that we call eRepublik.
