It’s been a couple of days since I was elected, and I’m getting nicely settled in now so I thought it time to give a bit of an update. Many thanks to all who voted for me, I’m just sorry it wasn’t a more interesting Presidential race for your enjoyment. I am proud to have been elected as your President. Anyway, time for a quick update on a couple of things that have happened since I got the keys to the office.
During President Oblige’s last term negotiations took place to secure a peace deal between America, Brazil and Spain. The terms were put to all three Congresses, who agreed them, and yesterday the CPs of all three countries got together to sign the deal with witnesses from the HQs of the Terra and ONE alliances. Under the peace accord the USA keeps the two regions that mean we retain our 100/100 bonuses.
While the game mechanics of all three administrations unsetting the Natural Enemies and processing the peace proposals takes place please do not fight against Spain unless otherwise directed to do so by national orders. The peace deal means we can fight alongside our allies in Terra and Eden while some of them are currently having a very hard time, so please direct as much damage as possible to those allied battles.
It seems a few people may have been inadvertantly upset by my allowing the Press Department to have a little bit of fun at the expense of my British heritage. Please rest assured, it is only a bit of fun and that what passes for normal service will be resumed soon, although it is quite possible that they will continue to poke fun in various places through the month. I don’t take this personally, and nor should you. You should just know how incredibly proud I am to have been so accepted into eAmerican society and culture that people can feel able to make fun of me in such a way.

Looking forward to additional updates; the BHPR is rather offensive given our recent history with the eUK, the faster the WHPR is restored the better.
Regarding Spain, the immediate cessation of hostilities seems unwise, Spain's traitorous abandonment of its long-standing association with the eUSA last year cannot be forgiven nor forgotten. Imo, the annexation should continue until for at least another full year.

thank you for the clarification on the whole BHPR. I did find it troublesome but if you say it was all in good fun then all is forgiven. As to Spain, while I don't think they can be trusted, a peace treaty does not hurt us in any way. And if they do turn on us agian, we can always beat them back down again.

2. Making peace with ONE is NEVER GOOD.
Also why are the Ultramarines flauted in your article but no other MU? Favoritism? Conflict of interest at best I'd say. Sure you point out to join the eUS Armed Forces but that seems as an after thought. Just sayin'. Don't take it as strong criticism but merely pointing out obvious flaws.
