Join the new world

You have to believe me when I say that this is NOT how I imagined writing a campaign article would be like...

I mean, this is really stressful.

How can I best convey to you, fellow eRepublikans, all of my ideas on how I would like to contribute to Congress? Since I have absolutely no political experience whatsoever, you can imagine how pressed I am for words at the moment. I guess I could start off by introducing myself...


Maybe a little sake will take the edge off...

I started playing eRepublik a fairly long time ago. Now, I know that's how it might not appear if you happened to notice that my eRepublik birthday is January 29th 2011, but the honest truth is I was banned about 2 months ago for administering multiple accounts.

Yes, I am ashamed to admit it, but admit it I must. I was weak back then, and didn't know exactly what I wanted to get out of the game. I became fixated, entranced if you will by the golden little devil lingering just out of reach of the health bar on my profile.

If I create another account, I can transfer over my Super Soldier Medal award and use it for more efficient strength training! Oh! And if maybe i could create one more, I could boost my skills by 20% everyday!! Surely they won't notice?

Soon one account turned into two, two turned into three, and before I knew it I was no longer Zeggie a decorated Cavalryman, I had become a drug crazed crack head looking to best the previous "high".


The dark times...

But onto the reason I have thrust myself upon you this evening.

eAmerica, You must believe me I am doing this out of complete admiration of you. Day in and day out I, as well as MANY dedicated and hard working members of our military are working behind the scenes to ensure our great country's safety. And I do sincerely believe that we live in the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.

I stand before you in awe of the massive network that is our military, and it will be my top goal to support the introduction and education of both young and old players alike to the great benefits a career in our military can offer.

We must act as soon as possible to try and funnel as many new players as possible towards the Training Corps. I was throwing around the idea of a slightly revamped welcome message that puts a stronger emphasis on getting involved in our nation's military.

Anyone currently serving with or graduated from the TC will tell you here is where you will meet supportive, like-minded players that can encourage and push you to get the most out of eRepublik.


I'm prepared to lend you a hand, will you let me?

OK, so I guess I went a little overboard, I only wish to convey my honest to God feelings to all of you right now. I hope that I somewhat got that message across to most of you.

Also, I'm not stupid, I know I have no real experience as a politician or a Congressman... But I do have real experience as an eRepublikan and that should count for something dammnit!

So please, have the confidence to vote me, Bennosuke, into Congress on the 25th in the great state of Arkansas!
