[APP] Leadership Team and Country President Preselection Debate

Thanks again APP for putting your trust in me to lead the party this month. I have 2 major announcements:

THE APP LEADERSHIP TEAM

I asked APP members to volunteer and am pleased to announce the leadership team for May/June:

Party President: Paul J Keating - ‘Nuff said, I’ve announced my plans and will follow through.
Vice President: supereviloverlord - Longserving Vice President supereviloverlord has signed up for another term. An active behind the scenes contributor much of supereviloverlord’s work goes unnoticed but not by me. It’s no secret that I’m not active on IRC and supereviloverlord is making up for that.
Secretary General: venja - Previous Party President, legendary Minister of Finance and all-round solid citizen venja provides a degree of experience that is difficult to match.
Councillor: st0ly - One of the leading lights in the next generation of APP leadership. st0ly quickly demonstrated his ambition for this country during the party president campaign and I’m very pleased to have him on board. Previous ePortugese ambassador st0ly is keen to make his mark and I’m very pleased to provide an opportunity.

I look forward to working with the leadership team over the next month to enhance APP’s place as a leading light in eAustralian politics.

COUNTRY PRESIDENT PRESELECTION

It’s a little early but with a number of CP candidates already announcing their intention to run this will be an exciting and competitive election.

Three very different candidates have expressed their intentions so far - :Mick Gatto, majester and Molly Jo.

With three very different candidates this promises to be an interesting battle of ideas and I’m looking forward to the debates.

With that in mind I am opening the APP CP preselection debate early in the interests of ensuring that we have sufficient time to understand and consider the different points of view each of the candidates will bring.

The APP preselection debate takes place on the APP public forum and is open to all members of the public, not just APP. Ask your questions of the candidates and comment on their responses. Above all get involved and make this the most constructive and interesting presidential campaign we’ve seen.

This is how we normally select our CP candidate and not a gimmick. The only thing that has changed is opening it early as the campaign appears to have started already. I have certainly not made up my mind and as a party and leadership team we have no current preferred candidate. Democracy in action!
