[AMP] What AMP Means to Me

As a member of the AMP, one often hears/sees the phrase “Feel The AMPs” in articles, forums, and shouts. Being relatively new to this game, I really started to wonder, “What makes these AMPs so worthy of being felt? And how can I feel these AMPs myself?”

Obviously some people just say it for the free swag you get when you post it in official AMP newspaper articles (like this one *wink wink*.) Others are just hopping along on the bandwagon, because feeling AMPs is certainly the cool thing to do. But, there are others still that actually know what those AMPs feel like.
To become one of those people - to become one with the AMPs - you have to meet two requirements:

1) You must have really big balls.


Check.

2) You must know what AMP really means.

I know you’re probably thinking “I know what AMP stands for! I’m not an idiot!” And, yes, the letters AMP do stand for American Military Party. But, AMP means a lot more than that. AMP means something different to every single AMPer out there. It’s a lot more than just some party. It’s our party. And so, for my very first article, I’m going to say a few things about what AMP means to me, in a conveniently ordered list:

A is for American

This part seems pretty self-explanatory. But, there’s a little more to it than one might think. AMP isn’t just an American political party. It’s a political party for America. We, as a party, stand for what we believe is right and fair to the people of the United States. We don’t follow trends, and we don’t follow “the elites”. We just do our best for the people.

Our congressmen may disagree sometimes on what actions to take in the name of the American People. But, we have democratic means of working out these issues. In the end we follow our hearts, and say what we think needs to be said. In doing so, we also know that…

M is for Military

The most important aspect of this war game is, surprisingly, war. When it comes to doing what’s right for the American people, we know that there is nothing more crucial to the prosperity and security of this nation than a strong, well-funded military. Whether it’s USAF or some other private MU, we stand up for our country’s soldiers.

This party was built by soldiers, for soldiers. We have high standing members in all of the top MUs in America and we like it that way. As former AMP Party President David Wilson recently said to me: “AMP enjoys having a strong presence in all MUs. It lends some unity to the American fighting force.”

Also, our party spends boat-loads of cash giving out food and tanks to its members. In fact, you can get more daily supplies from AMP than you can from a lot of MUs. We want our members to be big hitters, dropping giant bombs of freedom on America’s enemies. There ain’t no party like a freedom party. Because, last but not least…

P is for Party

The AMP is a party! We don’t just do boring political crap. We have fun! On our forums, there’s always a few different games being played, or threads where people can talk and get to know each other in different, interesting ways. We’re a community.

Here’s the part where I plug all of the cool programs I talked about earlier! There are two different supply programs that the AMP currently runs.

There’s the AMP Food and Tanks Program, where any US Citizen can get 300 wellness every day. And party members can get up to 600 wellness and 3 Q7 tanks!

Then, there’s the GTA (Give these AMPers Tanks) Program where any American can get 7 Q7 tanks every day, just for posting twice on the AMP forums per day!

Finally, there’s a new program that the AMP is just now rolling out called AMP Careers. This is a collection of jobs working for the AMP that offer a minimum wage of 40cc to any AMP member, with a maximum of 75cc being paid to workers based on their activity in the party.
