[AMP] Pfeiffer Sinks Even Lower

Well... now I’m wet.

This afternoon when I logged on, I saw something that I never, ever thought I would see. I mean, even if Admin decided that they had completely screwed up, and were going back to V1. Or if the USAF and JCS had merged. Or if the United States had all her regions back.

I wouldn’t be as surprised as I was this afternoon.


So what happened, you must be wondering? What amazing thing had rocked my world? What ghastly thing had transpired?

I got a recruitment message from the USWP. It was a typical message, extolling the virtues of a dying party. Telling me how awesome they were, and how I would be a better man for joining them.

Are you kidding me?

Holy smokes.... ya’ll are getting desperate. Mass Messaging a rival party is considered one of the lowest forms of political sabotage. I couldn’t believe it. I was floored, that the USWP would sink this low. But maybe it was just me. Maybe I was the only one that got a message. Maybe this wasn’t a deceptive, and lowly attack on the AMP. Perhaps it was just a clerical error. I wanted to give the USWP the benefit of the doubt, so I checked out the AMP forum, and I got on IRC. And sure enough, it wasn’t just me. Multiple members of the American Military Party had received this message as well.

So I asked Pfeiffer about it (he was the one that had messaged me), and he said that it was a mistake, and that he had asked for a list of non party members.
Mistake or not, the message has still been sent. And you can’t undo that.

If it was a mistake, then I am calling on the USWP to issue a public apology.

Has the AMP sent messages to members of other parties? Sure. Of course we have. But we sent messages to members of the esteemed United States Armed Forces. Yes, some of them happened to be members of political parties, but they were sent messages for their military affiliation, not for their political.


In truth, it was highly rewarding to get this message. The USWP is scared. For the first time in months, there is a legitimate threat to them. A legitimate threat to their power. A legitimate rival.

This is what we have done, AMP. This is the fruit of our labors. We’ve scared the USWP. So much so, that they are sinking to the lowest form of political warfare that this game knows. Keep your head up AMP, and keep on plugging away. We’ll get there. And we’ll get there with our moral fiber intact. We won’t go this low because we don’t have to.

In the HBO Series ‘The Wire’ one character remarks to the other, “You come at the King, you best not miss.”

We’re coming. And we won’t miss.
