Now it´s time for an interview with the 3 AMP Party Presidential Candidates Mr. Swagg, Free_Area and George S Patton Jr.

Tell us a little about yourself and how you came to play eRepublik?

Mr. Swagg: My brother showed me this game, which he still plays, and we have been playing for about a year each, a little more than this. I have always liked simulation games such as this, and this one just seemed perfect!

Free_Area: I heard about eRepublik from a friend and came here to try it out as I have always been interested in games like this. I was born in the United States but currently I dont live there because I decided to study international law in Europe and I am living here for a while. I love my country, America,almost as much as I love AMP, and I came here to make them both even better.

George S. Patton: I am George S. Patton Jr and I started playing eRepublik three and a half years ago. When I first joined eRep the eUSA was in a even worst spot then it is now. We were under invasion from Indonesia on the West Coast, Hungray, Portugal, and Spain from the East Coast, and Russia from the North/North East. We ended up down to one Region Florida and we fought our asses off and ended up pushing out and reclaiming all 50 mainland states by the end of the war.

That was the main reason I stuck around this game when I first started playing. The meta game was actually really interesting and you could actually make money by owning companies. Man those were the day 😛

For those that want to know a little about me personally I am twenty years old and a Sophomore in college. I’m a huge New York sports fan hate if you want. I like trolling and joking around just as much as the next guy but when It comes time to get things done and put the work in I’m the guy you want. I’m a bit of perfectionist and like to get things correct the first time around.


Why should someone vote for you?

Mr. Swagg:They should vote for me because I am Swagg! But seriously, I have a great mix of “young enthusiasm” and experience. I have experience with military command, Executive positions, party jobs, and congressional experience.


Free_Area: I am pretty experienced in politics and have performed a variety of roles in AMP leadership. If elected I will continue the successful policies of my dear party collegues and friends Dr. Luis and Emdoublegee, and while I have the utmost respect for the other candidates, I feel strongly that my credentials and my commitment make me an ideal choice as your next Party President. I have also assembled a top notch leadership team.


George S. Patton Jr.: I’ve been a party member of AMP for over a year now, active, and contributing to the party. I know the insides and out of every party role. I have been a Chief of Staff for two different party presidents, I have been a Director or deputy of PAC, Comms, and Rentention. I have been a member of the eUSA Congress nine time (Seven with the AMP). I have also been the AMP WHIP and the USWP WHIP.


In your cabinet on which of these will your emphasis lie: Knowledge, Experience, Capability or Friends and Favours?

Mr. Swagg: Capability by far. There are many who are smart and knowledgeable, but lack the ambition, commitment, or drive to actually DO what needs to be done. Experience is great, but sometimes experience can dull your enthusiasm and your willingness to take risks. Friends and favors? That is obviously a NO. While I am loyal to those who have supported e, I will not give them anything that i do not believe they deserve.


Free_Area:Knowledge, experience, and capability. This is what has made AMP the powerhouse it has always been.


George S. Patton Jr.: My emphasis is on capability because in most party jobs we can teach the knowledge and give you the experience needed. What I can’t give you is the want-to attitude to get things done on time and in the proper fashion. I need people with the capability of success as long as you have that I can work with you.


What is the first thing you will do/change when you are in office?

Mr. Swagg: The AMP’s position. If you look at the top 5 parties, AMP is number three. THREE?? I don’t like that. The AMP is the best party, so we should also be the largest. I plan to put the AMP back on top where it BELONGS.

Free_Area: My deputy and I have finished a revision on the statute and made it stable , so I would say that the first change in the new cabinet will be less amendments and law changes. I am also thinking about removing the new way of reporting for department direct.

Also I will give my best to raise activity level of our RT members and our party will be the #1 legitimate party again.

George S Patton Jr.: The first thing I will do when I get in office will to have personal meetings with each of my departments and layout what I expect from them this month. They will be aware if they don’t live up to the standard being set they will be replaced quickly.

How can the AMP benefit from your leadership?

Free_Area: I think I can offer a lot to the AMP. I have knowledge about leadership and politics , as well as knowledge about legal systems and social relations. There will be many recruiting programs and I am sure that AMP will grow even more and be #1 once again.


George S Patton Jr.: AMP can benefit from my leadership because I have agenda and I know how to accomplish it.



What do you see as the main challenge for the next term?

Mr. Swagg:Hmm, I think my main challenge will be doing all the things that I plan to do in just one short month! Luckily, I think I have an RT of people who can help me to achieve most, if not all, of my goals for the term.

Free_Area: We must find a way to deal a deathblow to the PTOers. I will work fervently to try to see what the maximum is that AMP can do to stop them. I also see recruitment as one of my biggest challenges. We must find a way to recruit even more people.

George S Patton Jr.: Competing against the FEDs for the Top legitmate party spot in the eUSA.


Do you have some key values that you always hold true?

Mr. Swagg: Honesty, Honor, and Loyalty. I will always be loyal to the AMP and the eUSA. I will always be honest with people, and I will never do anything as PP that I would be afraid of the populace finding out.

Free_Area: I respect the law above all else, as it is my profession and my greatest area of knowledge. My key values would be to be honest and fair to everyone.

George S Patton Jr.: Honor, Integrity, Respect for you Superiors, and above all love your eCountry.


Could you list people you’d like to see in your departments?

Mr. Swagg: Oh, wow, there are just so many! I am not going to list people who i would like to see in my departments, but I WILL say this: I would love to see new players in there, so if you are looking to get involved, contact me, I would love to have some eager new faces.
