[After the elections] My thanks, my thoughts and whats to come.

People of eDenmark!

I must admit that I was not completely prepared to win the Presidential elections - yet. Because I appreciate honesty, I also admit that in my opinion I was running as a backup for Libertas. The elections were extremely close, and I ended up winning by mere 1 vote. This is not the first time in eDenmark this year when this happens, but due to our discussions I did not have any campaign in media.

I am greatly humbled by the trust eDenmark has showed in me. As always for first-term presidents, this is my time to prove myself. In this article I will tell you a little about myself and talk a bit about the welfare-program renewal.





None - More than no-one

I have never been very keen on putting myself to the spotlights. People in eDenmark probably know me by now as a guy who appreciates numbers in all forms. Numbers don't lie and they provide reliable way to plan and keep track on budgets and so forth. I have provided eDenmark with few Excel-sheets, and I have co-operated with Klausen and Maine Coon on several projects. For me big words mean nothing, so I will just say that what I do is what I am. At this moment it seems that it has been appreciated.

Like our three-time president Zacharia Raven, I also come from eFinland. I will not go into the reasons of my departure. eDenmark became familiar to me through Raven who came here first and needed some help. I got to know Danes like Maine Coon and Kristian Klausen, and I haven't looked back since.

I have acted as President of eFinland for 1 month and 1 week. First time was my own, and the one week was after an impeach. I have also worked in Asgard HQ. But most of my experience stems from various tasks in the army organisations of eFinland. This experience may not be very relevant anymore, as the game has changed so much.

In eDenmark I haven't held any official governmental positions yet. It is not a secret that this means that I will rely heavily on the actives especially in foreign affairs. As I consider myself somewhat a micromanager I will probably participate myself too, and learn the ways of both eDenmark and Germark.

As a leader I see myself as a delegator. I try to spot the strenghts of other people and delegate them so that their skills are put to use. In eDenmark we have very solid base for government so I will focus on supporting them and learning more myself.

I would like to thank Libertas for the previous term, and these elections.




Wellfare program

Recently we have started to discuss about welfare program and taken steps to develop it. I personaly belive that the current way of the program yields the most support for the factory holders and not the young people of eDenmark. That is only one very personal point, but as luck would have it i am not the only one who feels that the improvement is needed.

Therefore we will be having a poll for opinions in the forum section and go from there.




Government

I had no ready plan for the goverment, but anybody willing to spend some time for the greater good of our state is welcome to be a part of my government.
So i am hoping that we find new actives, old folk and returning two clickers taking a part in goverment work ( would that be in making up conversation about things they hold dear or voting in polls) and also during this weekend I will be contacting the actives and asking who wishes to continue and in which position. I will publish the list in future article.
