[Ad4CP] Highway to the Danger Zone

So I got about halfway through writing my Foreign Policy article, and then I had to rip the entire thing up:



War...war never changes

Far from trying to keep our noses clean and our tax income and bonuses high as I would’ve liked, it looks like we’ve suffered YET ANOTHER gangbang by our bordering countries. Yep, we're going to be in a bit of a scrap with Sweden, France and the Traitorfag Dutch.

So there’s not a great deal of creative Foreign or Defence policy to be done, it’s patently obvious what we need to be doing. If I am CP and this war is still ongoing, I will be fully intending to push any invaders out of our core provinces as quickly as possible, and do as much as we can to make them regret their cowardly gangbang.



Under an Addaway govt, the successful merging of the MoFA and MoD will continue, with four key ministers overseeing both ministries with a single lead minister in each area. I feel like its been really useful in helping co-ordination between the two, and ensuring that we have a coherent approach with our allies

Fataliix will be the lead Foreign Affairs minister, while Aaron will be the lead Defence Minister. Paul Tyndale and Sambo223 will be the supporting ministers.

Defence

The MoD will see a large increase in funding*. Full details will be spelt out in my budget on the 2nd, but I want to have money available for Q7 supplies and CO money; as well as a new system where the MoD will be rewarding eUK citizens who post impressive tanking stats for the eUK, both over a week and over the course of a single battle. We will have articles published with stats and the like, and I’d hope it would a good way to increase engagement and generally liven things up.

Foreign Affairs

Regards additional Foreign Affairs stuff, I can’t say that I’d be overly bothered about whether we run an ambassadors system or not- in the past its been relaunched and fallen apart again due to lack of interest- if any eUK cits wanted to help/learn Foreign Affairs they would be more than welcome but we’d be looking to make you an apprentice than an ambassador per se. I would like to see some form of regular Foreign Affairs update articles return to the eUK, though it might be the case that this falls to the ‘Education’ side of the MoHA chiefly, with input from our MoFAs.


Not a lot else to be said really, rest assured that if I win the MoD/FA will be IRC active, experienced, well funded, and ready to fight.

*unless congress decide that wipes are a good idea
