[Ad4CP] Bout' that time for a second article, eh?

Day 2,631, 16:03 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Addaway

In my last article I went over the general theme of how I want the eUK to move forwards over the next month- continuity and stability. This is crucial with the delicate position both the eUK, and the wider eWorld, is in. In this article, I want to go more in depth into my policy in each area. I’ll also detail who I’ve picked to head up each ministry.

As I said a couple of days ago, my vCP will be our current CP, SerFartsalot: His experience with our recent foreign affairs, having been so key to it, will be invaluable to the eUK in ensuring our recent success continues. It would be foolish not to have him spearheading that side of our policy.

Okay, so the actual MoFA itself. Tasos Maximous will be continuing his work at the MoFA, supporting SerF and maintaining day-to-day relationships with other eCountries. Regarding general Forig policy for this month, I want to see us maintaining the neutral stance that has served us so well, refusing to rush into any formal alliances and continuing to fight hard for our closest allies.

Best Foreign Policy ever…

Not a lot to be said for the MoD, other than who is working in it this month. BrickTamland and CptChazbeard will be tasked with directing our damage, a role they’ve both done many times before and I’m sure they’ll get on just fine.

The Ministry of Education will be headed up this month by Rathena Gelc, who recently came in and has been doing a good job of cranking out some guides for the newbs. As I said in my first article, I’d like the MoEd to focus on both providing concise guidance for new players, and information on events globally through a kind of ‘BBC News’ article, giving eUKers a single concise news source. As with all ministries, the shape of the work done will be determined by Rathena, as long as productive stuff is happening, I’m happy.

Last but by no means least, the Finance Ministry, of which Huey George will be the lead minister here, with a track record of efficient work with our monies. We have a sizeable chunk of money in the country accounts, and I want to see us getting a chunk of that money on the MM market (with the gold price favourable) to try to generate some additional income. To safeguard our money against future nasty CPs, all money will be donated back to the Country Accounts at the end of term.

As well as generating some income, I’d like to see us looking at ways we can spend to help improve the eUK’s fighting ability, beyond the standard 60-day TG loans the MoF has traditionally offered. Whether this manifests itself in outright grants; or more forgiving, and larger, loans will be decided with discussion with Huey and Congress.

An excellent team of guys in my opinion. If you are interested in working in any of the ministries should I win, please contact the minister responsible, they're free to pick who works with them, I ain't gonna impose people on them.

Cheers,

Adastros
