We are all getting used to incomprehensible "improvements" of the game.
The last one can be the final hit to the small countries.
"Soon enough,the +10% Natural Enemy bonus will be applied also to the Rank Points gain and, even more interesting, to the Strength increase while training. "
With the authomatic daily battle, having a natural enemy means "wipe them out or try to not be wiped out". Small countries simply CAN'T constantly have a natural enemy.
Also, they specified that you must have the citizenship of a country with a natural enemy, not just live in it.
So I would rephrase the previous statement by the admins:
"Soon enough, you will have to choose a big country, if you don't want to loose strength compared to the other players".
The exodus begins. The eRepublik we loved, could end.

The only way to survive is to find a friendly natural enemy (!!!) and agree with them to win one battle each... but this would take a constant organization and a region to loose then win then loose...

Anyway I think this change IS a big deal. Not having a natural enemy means loosing 15-45 strength points (depending on the booster) for EACH CITIZEN every month. And also -10% of ranking.
This could make every single irish fighter (and consequently our entire country) weaker every day. I think we should start looking for a solution.
They need to add the dictatorship module asap, my minions are beginning to speak up ;_;

Eh, we'll be fine. They keep adding "improvements" to the game. I figured we'd be used to it by now. Everyone worries and the game just keeps moving on. We're better organized now, after all. Don't fret so much. xD
@Grainne - My apologies but I'm afraid I have to agree that a lot of what you do is mostly complain and contradict arguments. We are not "run by Canada".

Don..I don't know but in case you haven't noticed UK is practically on its own. Phx and the rest have pretty much got their hands full at the moment especially considering the UK don't offer them very much. They are surrounded by enemies and only serve as a nuisance.
If we propose NE against the UK, along with Canada (already done) and possibly Norway I really do not see how this would be a problem.

No Don not exactly true at all, in fact that is very far from the truth. There was no proper preparations on our part. Luka comes from Croatia, where they don't bitch and moan over silly stuff like we do here. So things like this are simple for him-
-Prepare
-Wage War

They keep a war going with the strongest nation on the planet. Why? Cos they prepared for it properly by setting up all the needed systems even though they have a real life population on a par with Ireland. I have been there and seen it with my own eyes. The problem is Ireland's Natural Enemy is ourselves. If the constant moaning stops there is no end to what we could achieve. We have a good foundation now, we need to push on and grab this game by the balls for once.
I have just seen that the new mission (50 strength and 500 rank points) requires to kill 30 natural enemies... it looks like the admins reeeeeally want everybody to have a natural enemy.

Since we rent out a region to eCanada why not ask them for a "training war contract" and declare them our natural enemy? Both sides would profit and give eIreland a real chance to cope with the new situation.
