[ACroc4CP] -FA- Working as ONE The World became Ours

Day 1,988, 00:38 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Ayame Crocodile

Hey everyone,

By now you will probably have read about how I like to organise and manage things and have seen my Domestic policies in my two previous articles. Today as promised I will be discussing my take on foreign affairs and how I'd like that department be handled this coming month.

The first thing that we will face is the inevitable changing face of the Irish Government, And from the current list of presidential candidates we can look forward to a big change here. MUFC has been a big part of the degrading relations between our nations and the continuation of this war and for a while it was feared he would try to run for a third term.

Instead currently the candidates in Ireland (OrangeJuicemmmm of Labour, Damhnaic of Independent Voices and MikeBane of Super-Neo Banist) are all incredibly preferable from our point of view (and no doubt the Irish viewpoint as well) to MUFC. I personally have a good relationship with OJmmm and I know many in the eUK are friendly with Damhnaic.

This means that while we will finish exacting revenge for the wipe that Ireland helped to enact upon us by wiping them in return, We will now have to see if the successful candidate across the sea will take the route of opening peace talks.

We have both had our fun and these continuous battles, while enjoyable, aren’t in the best interests of either of our nations and respective allies. And before anyone says we should be occupying Ireland let me remind everyone that we have had brilliant support from our allies in achieving our current position and they no doubt will be wanting to turn their attentions more fully towards their own concerns at some point.

Lets not confuse a great and fun retaliation campaign for anything long term, Without our allies we will see Ireland liberating regions eventually and it’s better for us and them that we understand this situation and try to renew the friendship we have shared.

As I just stated and am happy to reiterate our allies have been incredible, as usual, over the last weeks. With their help we have got rid of Argentina from Europe and turned the tables a full 180 on Ireland.

We couldn’t have done it without these brilliant friends we have in our allies. And their commitment to us is something we now need to be repaying.

They have sacrificed their own interests to ensure we kept a congress and have continued to support us in our push through Ireland. So now as with all things, what has come around and benefited us is now owed by us to our Allies.

We must understand that soon our allies and alliance will face battles in which will need to play a part, That we cannot be the centre of attention forever and we should take pride in returning the favour.

Now I’ve been thinking for a little while about how best to represent what is not just the most important matter of eUK foreign affairs but also globally which is of course the current shift in alliances following the crumbling of Eden, And I came across what I think is a very apt analogy to explain how I view these events and how we as a nation should be viewing and acting during them.

That analogy grows from something a lot of us have a pretty good understanding of. Football.

Alliances are the teams in which the players, our nations, all work together to achieve a collective goal; Winning the game at hand against the rival alliance. Whilst TWO and CoT have been friends and playing mostly alongside each other against Eden for much of the recent past it’s now common knowledge that things are turning sour, I won’t go into depth for the reasons because there are many great articles already doing that job for me.

But suffice to say that as part of this analogy Eden has now been relegated, It’s been slowly dying for some time now and as it does so Transfer season has opened up and it’s open season on the star players of the relegation destined team. The USA has decided to join the CoT side and it is just a matter of time until Romania is signed to TWO.

Now many people seem to feel that the rivalries are eternal, and to be fair some are, but most are not. Yes Romania hit hard at times against us and our allies whilst part of Eden. But at the time that was the side Romania was on, we shouldn’t have any less respect for them for carrying out their duties with honour.

Now they are seemingly destined to join our side we should be excited to welcome them. I’m sure they will do as fine a job for us as they have done for Eden in the past if they do so.

As with any player who is part of a team we should look at this time as a chance to make new friends and welcome any new ally with open arms. It’s now our job to make TWO as inviting and enticing a prospect to join as possible, It’s in our best interests to do so.

No one knows when but everyone knows that the derby game is coming sooner or later. It’s time to get ready as best we can.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a great place for many players to get more involved and to learn a lot so it’s an important duty of any Minister of foreign affairs to guide the ambassadors and provide them with the necessary contacts to allow them to be able to fulfill their role.

It takes a fair amount of time for a player to meet enough people in other nations and to build trust, This is why of all the ministries the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is one which needs an experienced and seasoned minister to head it.

They pass on their knowledge and provide contacts to ambassadors so that they can inform our nation about what is happening around the new world, the declaring of wars and signing MPPs. If you want the nation to follow their leaders you need to give them the evidence and information which lead to decisions being taken.

Without the vital eyes and ears of Ambassadors this would be impossible, And of course the same goes back to other nations as well, Our ambassadors are also often the first port of call for other governments to get information and in contact with us.

Before I make a bit of an announcement I’d like to just say that the MoFA has been great recently in providing us all with interesting and informative articles and I look forward to them continuing in much the same vein.

Right then I want to make an announcement which fills me with joy to make, And that is to announce my first vCP, yes first because as you may know this month is going to be very busy in Foreign Affairs and so I have opted to have two Vice Presidents so that one may focus solely on Foreign Affairs.

And luckily for me the vCP that will be doing so is none other than the brilliant Mittekemuis, She has a wealth of experience in this area as well as having served as a President herself three times!

This probably isn’t much of a surprise to those who know me well because me and Mitte get on very well which many people know. And we are both really looking forward to working together this month.

Right announcement over with, I think here is a good point to sign off, First though I’d like to make a quick apology to anyone who was hoping to read this yesterday an unexpected visit from an old friend who has been away down under for several months hampered me finishing the last bits of this article, and so I’m really sorry that it’s slightly behind schedule. But better now than next week! 😉

There are only two more articles to look forward to in this campaign from myself left and the next will be Military matters which I am hoping to release tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you once again and See you soon,

ps. Yup, I do realise that my title choices are cheesy, and I wouldn't have it any other way! 😛
