[A4CP] Economy and Other Things You Probably Won't Like

So how do you rebuild an economy? Hmmmmmm. First you start to identify the problems. Taxes are obvious, you can't spend money you don't have. Sucks don't it. Raise taxes. Yea it'll seem like it hurts but that's how it goes, estimates have always shown 15% VAT is a must, there might be flucuations but it's what is required. Like it or lump it, you can't have anything without money, what must be done must be done.



Now for a long time a mistake has been made in eCanada. Every little flavour of the month Military Unit that pops up thinks it is entitled to funding. Overall few have proved fruitful in the long run (I said few, TCO you are an exception, my apologies). Let's get straight down, cause some hate towards myself and speak honestly. There should be only one national army. A country of this size can really only afford one, the place where new players feel welcome if they choose to go to the gov't for their start. Militias will always exist and we shouldn't shun them, however it should be clear that starting up on your own makes you a different object.

Not everyone wants to follow the same path and I can't blame them, I'm not attacking you, but I am saying there should be responsibility for it. We do want to work together and funding to militias should exist when we have the money to do so. A militia is however not a gov't organization and should have a different burden of proof.



Any type of fighters should be under a commune system to require less funding. It's a must gov't or militia. Refusing to commune means you don't deserve the supplies, thank you and good day. All fighters are under order to obey orders if they wish to recieve funding, don't like that, good-bye. Militias started by private individuals may request funding if it's available by submitting proof of communing, following orders and well generally being active for the country, however the goal of a private militia sould always to become self substaining. A plan to achieve the infastructure you require as such should be shown.

Next let's look at MPP's, lots sounds good right? Not always. As back in January running a broke country I inherited, we have to look at money for value. Who supplies us with fights, who actually helps. When in economic hardship value for you dollar means something. It may seem mean to say to some no go away, but sometimes things need to be done. Like it or lump it.
