#53 Russia Getting Owned

Day 1,286, 12:22 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Gambit8

Hello Readers!

A LOT has been cracking off in the last few days, mainly countries getting on the map and what not, so I'm gonna try and cover everything, if I didn't then slap me round the face with Panda Bear.

Lets start off over at the Baltic countries. First of all the Estonian war with Russia has now ended officially now as Estonia have signed a peace treaty, which you'd think is a bad idea considering Turkey have joined the fight, but maybe not. The reason is, Finland have began a resistance war in Souther Finland against Lithuania, now lets say Finland retake this, which I have to say, they do look like they'll win, then Estonia will not only have no border with Russia if Turkey and Lithuania win their battles but they'd also be able to start a war with Finland...again.
Now this may seem like an okay idea but with no allied support will they be able to win? Well I think they could as Sweden aren't all too busy so they may help Estonia, or even begin a war for themselves to retake the Finnish colonies they once had.

Latvia, Lithuania and Turkey are all winning their battles against Russia pretty easily to be honest and what is quite weird is that a joke natural enemy has been proposed against Estonia. Maybe Latvia are bored as proposing a natural enemy against Russia would be pointless as they are winning and if they do indeed win the they'd have no border with Russia, thus ending the war. So Latvia will have nowhere to go and it could either make the people feel very safe, or just plain bored. However, the Lithuanian front will still be open so they can still fight for their allies so I doubt the people will be bored for long.

Hungary are attacking the last Romanian region in which Hungary only need to win one last mini-battle to win the campaign and take Romania, wiping them off the map. However a resistance war is going on in Poland, and as you know, Poland have a great track record when it comes to any type of wars, but especially that of resistance wars. Romania are doing pretty well however and it does look like it'll be a battle to watch.

Now lets get onto the main news of the day. The temporarily banned Macedonian tanks are back! And in that crew involves Alfagrem. The Macedonians are very much angry as they have been a victim of racism by the admins. This is not the first incident of racism against Macedonians and it surely will not be the last. But it seems the admins risk of banning tanks, and good ones at that (Gives money to the game, practically giving the admins a pay cheque) have all been for null as Macedonia are still kicking Greek ass and are staying strong. However is I was one of the people temporarily ban from the game, not only would I have gone to court with it, but I'd also tank extra hard to make the admins annoyed...twice. 😉

Serbia are still charging into Bulgarian territory as they are flying in their current battle in Ruse. Bulgaria are try desperately to get it back and have got a lot of country points in the current mini-battle but Serbia look like they'll just get it back as they are over 50% and regaining the lost points.
On the other Serbian front, they are attacking the last Bosnian region and it's really no contest to be fair. Serbia are the most experienced country on this game, followed only by Poland. Whereas Bosnia and Herzegovina are the 39th most experienced country in the world and just by that you know how the war will end without even looking at it.

Both Italy and Switzerland are back on the map after a co-ordinated resistance war during the battle Slovenia had to deal with against Croatia, and since it's a training war Croatia are still making it very difficult for Slovenia.
Slovenia now only have five connected region because of where the Italian region is placed and this'll effect the economy dramatically. But Slovenia are a strong country and will just get though it. A changing economy is not what the Slovenians want with a Croatian war active. And as I said, even though it is a training war, the Slovenians are getting pushed to the limit.

Macedonia are attacking the Greek region of Peloponnese, and what would be really funny if Macedonia go on to take Plato's home of Attica.

USA - Spain war is still very much active as Spain are winning in Cantabria but also have started a resistance war in Galicia to spread US damage.

Once again Slovakia has began a with Austria, however this time Austria are actually putting up a decent fight and are currently winning this battle to secure their region.

Canada have taken Scotland once again, and Ireland have taken the region of Wales. Canada are also probably going to win in North West of England too, which to be fair, I'm no overly scared about as I have faith in the UK and I do believe this is just a minor setback. It is struggling times but to be fair I don't think neither UK, Ireland or Canada are going to get wiped. All three are very stubborn nations, however I may be proven wrong, you never know 😉

Macedonia have gained quite a few region from Greece in their Middle Eastern colonies and have given the opportunity to get Egypt back on the map, Egypt took it and they return with no borders with any Greek regions, which means they are safe. With one regions, yes, but I bet they're just glad to be back on the map.
Saudi Arabia are also trying to take this opportunity to get a few regions back but again, Greece are winning and it seems another failed attempt by the Saudi Arabians. However if Macedonia are kind, they may let Saudi Arabia have a few regions if they are to take all the Greek colonies in the Middle East. Both Egypt and Saudi Arabia are affiliated with ONE and Macedonia may let them have a few as to get them stronger as a country.

China have declared war on Iran which is a training war.
The training war will supposedly last up to 7 days. The training war will only be held in two regions so they are planning not to lose any region on either side so each country will just secure their own region then let the other country win the next battle. If a region is taken however then the conquering will finance the resistance war to get the region back.

Mexico have began a resistance war against the US which means the US has three battles open and the damage will be spread making it easier for both Spain and Mexico to win in the battle they want to win. The unusual thing is in the current mini-battle a Brit is the battle hero. Hmm...

Peru are back on the map once again and already a natural enemy has been proposed against Peru by Argentina. Argentina definitely know a thing or two about retaining their conquered land.

Portugal lost their last battle against Venezuela, and even though they lost, Portugal do seem to be making slow progress, which is progress nonetheless.
I'm surprised Brazil hadn't dealt with Venezuela beforehand, Brazil just seem content with their own and their South African regions. You'd think a country as big as that would be wanting to expand all the time, get it's production to the maximum, making life easier for the new players and getting them to stay on the game.

Indonesia have moved into the region of Tasmania. It does look as if Australia are well on their way to once again being wiped by the almighty Indonesia.
Indonesia will be regaining what they have lost after their attack by China. After Australia they may move into Philippines again, or even into Malaysia to take advantage of the resources around them. Not to mention Indonesia may be rich in the rare resources like Rubber and Oil but what they lack is a decent amount of food resources which is why they must invade places like Australia.
