[4CP] Switzerland for Switzerland - PART 2

Good day citizens of Switzerland,

It has been a hell of a ride but I feel it's the moment to candidate for Swiss CP, possible not ready to win but very determined. You may know something about me, you think you know something about me, but the most certain thing is that you all know me by the nickname DoDrew and that’s a name to remember, because I can either be your best friend or your “best” enemy. My RL name is Andrew and I come from Romania. I started eRepublik as a Romanian citizen back in 2011, after I found out about this game from the spammers in RO media. Since then I’ve been part of several countries and MUs, but my eFamily is Templierii, which alongside my colleagues I helped it grow from 15 members to over 1000 members in our party ( back in 2012 ). My road was through Romania, Rep. Moldova, USA, Switzerland, sLOVEnia and now I’m back to Switzerland and ready to kick asses.

About Plans…

01. Swiss community
My main concerns are about the Swiss community, more exactly about growing our community, but not through utopic BBs, but through friends. While others are concern about letting people in, I think recent events proved us that new foreign citizens are not the main problem and our fears to be PTOed are starting to be an illness, rather than a precaution.

UPDATE:
- Due to a Baby Boom in France our population increased quite a lot, but most of them are small accounts ( most of them abandoned already ). It would be something good if some of them ( not multies though ) remain in the game.

- I know that in the past there was an "Emergency Swiss CS Request" for people that were Swiss citizens before. I would like to start a program where to include Swiss citizens to a "Swiss Loyal Citizens" list. A person who will be granted this title will be accepted without a Congress debate if he tries to become a Swiss citizen again. I think it's a shame if we hold our friends at the door. More details in the future. 🙂



02. Diplomacy and Battles
Nothing keeps our citizens active and allies close more than battles and fighting for each other in time of need. I don’t deny that diplomacy is an extremely good technique, but in eRepublik sometimes you need to show yourself on that battlefield as well. If I will be elected as a CP we will have fights for sure, I will not end this term without a REAL battle.

UPDATE: We had two important battles, two AS to be more exact. As you've seen or know battles make relations between two countries stronger. I was very pleased to see that RooT reacted so quickly and well to our problem.

03. Keep people informed
I will try also to make INFORMATION the strongest point in my term, because I know how I felt when I wasn’t informed about different state affairs and I will request in advance from our Congress the permission to use a budget for our fights.

UPDATE: In my term I would like to apply direct democracy when it comes to national matters. It means that a referendum will be kept and every Swiss citizen will have the right to vote.


04. Strength?
Few citizens -> small national damage -> unorganized MU and rebel soldiers

This is a problem that probably will always remain a problem. Still I would like to have an army that we can count on, to know for sure who will fight when it comes to war.


05. Financials

You have seen how much costs to defend from 2 AS. And there was CO from Poland to help us and we were attacked by small countries with few MPPs. Do you imagine how much money we need if we are attacked by a powerful nation? A main concern will be to fill as much as we can the treasury.

As you may know I have already started a private fund to be at our disposal in time of need. I would like to thank kimi, aaaseilern and grag for their effort to work for free in the benefit of our country. ATM we have 192 Q7 weapons. This is not meant to replace eSwiss budget, but to aid it.

Sadly if I will win this month would be the most difficult in my opinion, because it's December - which means Christmas, New Year and a lot of preparations. I will not blame any of you if you can't be so active.
