If you dug a hole through the center of the earth, and jumped in, would you stay at the center because of gravity?

Depends... how long is a piece of string?
twice as long as half a piece of string...
You wouldnt last long enough to make it to the centre of the earth 🙁
but if in some strange way you could, you would be drawn to the epicentre of gravity and held there till some unexplainable science anomaly occured. 😛
either the black hole or the aliens would kill you first.
"and jumped in"
the momentum you had built up by falling would keep you moving, so you would keep travelling until you either ran out of tunnel, or a combination of wind resistance and gravity pulled you back towards the center of the earth. You would then yo-yo back and forth until finally coming to a stop.
Wouldnt gravity just sorta crush you into a big ball? i think it would.
You would fall at an increasingly rapid rate, and alas disintergrate before reaching the core. If you did somewhat reach the core, you would be burnt alive regardless. To physically dig a whole from one end to the other isn't possible, due to our lovely center.
In the end, you would be nothing but ash once you reached the center of the earth, so would any digging equipment you might have.
