[005] Economic changes and a CP debate
First of, I have missed the CP debate myself. I’ve read the whole discussion on google docs, it was a dry read, in which untill the last 4 pages or so nothing really happened. Both candidates presented slow and outdated arguments. Some discussion was done but this was not really refreshing for the read either. The only discussion that was really something was about the money problem, but neither candidates had implemented the latest economic changes in their arguments making them both look rather silly.
Personally I underestimated the economic update, from the discussion I learned the bot has been removed. After a quick look my best guess is that the following will happen:
1. The price of NLG will drastically rise
2. The prices of goods will crash
3. Salaries will go down
4. Consumers are able to buy more goods
5. Black markets will be created
6. Important deals will be done in Gold
At this moment in time the price of NLG is really low, both candidates saw this. Neither had the new updates implemented in their ideology. Joep’s points were in this even worse then Tonie’s. Joep is willing to burn a lot of NLG by handing it out to the citizens and signing Mpp’s, this idea is very noble but not very likely to work when implemented. I support Tonie in his ideology to save up a lot of NLG. This could turn out to make the Dutch state one of the richest in the eWorld. We must and one cannot stress this enough, we must be watchfull that we will not turn out to be a PTO target then. This has been the only really interesting piece of the debat, the rest was a bit about Poland and random chatter about multiple subjects you can either agree or dissagree on. Mostly this happened and the arguments turned into aye nay speaking, not really interesting.
Furthermore I wish to give kudo’s to Tonie for his opening and admitting mistakes were made during the run to the presidential elections.
I will make a critical analysis about this months government, these will be a monthly event, all the following governments will be reported on in this newspaper.
At last I wish both candidates the best of luck. May the best man win.

By the way, the financial question was mine. Just saying 😁
Made some very stupid mistakes, it is a bit edited.
'Made some very stupid mistakes, it is a bit edited.'
OMG, you changed the entire article. Now it actually makes sense in some places.
" 1. The price of NLG will drastically rise"
Indeed, but the prize of gold will become better, so our NLG is more worth in Gold. To reach a better reate, we can or, as notie112 proposed, put it aside, or as JoepO proposed, 'burn' the NLG.
Both way's are good to get rid of the NLG, but with Joep O's proposal we actually gain something back for the NLG,
"This could turn out to make the Dutch state one of the richest in the eWorld."
Did you look up country treasury's (and their national banks) like Poland, USA and Brazil?
I guess not :- )
A good and very clear article, well done cureofthought. o/
